I have been buying different Machines for years this one by far is the Best .The key to longevity is maintance monthly and NOT using oily beans.I love the functionality, and 52 different settings I drink coffe,lattes,Cappuccinos,expresso,flats and my wife uses the ground slot for decaffeinated Drinks

Coming from a manual Breville Barista machine, I had high hopes that the De'Longhi Eletta Explore would streamline my morning routine and save precious time without sacrificing quality. My goal was to replicate the excellent coffee I was already making, but with the convenience of a fully automatic system. One thing that I especially do not like about the De'Longhi machines is the cheap feeling plastic material that they use. I thought that I would get over this, but I never did.
Unfortunately, my experience was a little shaky from the start. The Wi-Fi connectivity wasn't seamless out of the box, requiring troubleshooting. More importantly, even when using the exact same beans that I love in my Breville, I could never get the taste of the espresso to match the richness and depth I was accustomed to, which was a major disappointment.
My primary drink is a latte, and this is where the machine ultimately failed to meet my expectations. Over a two-week period of testing, I experimented with all the available settings but consistently ran into the same issues. The lattes produced were never sufficiently warm, often coming out at a lukewarm temperature that was far from enjoyable. This experience led me to research further, and I've come to realize that many superautomatic machines seem to have a technical limitation when it comes to producing lattes, struggling to replicate the powerful steam and texturing capabilities of a manual wand.
Ultimately, after two weeks of trying to dial it in, I gave up. While the De'Longhi Eletta Explore boasts an impressive array of features, including a cold brew function, it just wasn't the right fit for my specific needs. It might be a good choice for those who prefer straight espresso, americanos, or other non-milk-based drinks, but for a dedicated latte drinker, it fell short. I ended up returning the machine and am now back on the hunt for a superautomatic that can truly deliver a satisfying latte at home.

One Significant Flaw in Decent Machine

Ordered for the office at work about a month ago. Worked great for about 3-4 weeks until the first de-scaling process. After that, the hot milk frothing carafe could no longer get the milk up the straw and into the frothing segment. Disappointing to have this happen after only one month of use. Seems like this is a common issue with this model + carafe. Otherwise, the machine works well. However, the ability froth milk to different levels was a significant reason we made this nearly $2,000 purchase.

The product is great. Dealing with Best Buy is terrible. Definitely not the same company from years ago. At this point there is little compelling reason to use Best Buy over Amazon. Shipping and tracking is useless and the time to ship an item had me questioning if I was getting ripped off.

First one came with broken plastic every where in the machine and outside the machine, returned and bought a new one and that one doesn’t work. Best buy has been striking out with everything! Used to be our favorite place but can’t get anything right lately!

Arrived broken

Just got it today (Jan 23) and pulled a broken unit out of the box. The plastic pusce of the base had a big crack in it and the side of the machine had come apart from its housing clips so who knows whats busted internally. Bringing it back and getting a replacement.
