This espresso maker may not be very complex, but is a simple, beginners machine to use. Make sure you purchase small enough espresso cups, or shot glasses to use on machine as a normal will not fit under. This bar pressurized machine is absolutely amazing especially considering the low price. I researched multiple machines prior to buying and know that they must be bar pressurized and this one works out perfect. Bought some simple syrup from Biggby and it makes a pretty good latte.

I was pleased to find this one at 1/2 price at BB just when I needed to replace the one I have been using daily for 4 yrs until it started leaking water. It uses a pump system for the strong espresso with tan crema on top, and steams the milk perfectly for the lattes. It takes up very little room on my counter, although I had to set it on a little platform to raise it a couple of inches to fit the little milk pitcher under it. When I think of how much I spend on latte's, the one I paid $99. for paid for itself in a few months, and w/o having to leave my house. Recom. 1. I use distilled water 2. Clean the part on the main unit that comes in contact with the grounds periodically ( after 100 brews). 3. Clean basket and black milk spout thoroughly with each use. 4. Check and keep removable water tank full.

Great espresso from a nice easy to use machine. You have to make sure you add the right amount of espresso to the filter otherwise it can leak a little. I like that its small and compact so it doesn't take up to much counter space. easy to clean. I also like that it comes with singe or double shot options. Also, it doesn not include a container for frother so you need to purchase

I’ve had this for several months now, and it still works great. Yes, you have to wait for it to heat up. So, you need to develop a routine around using it. But it’s worth it. Makes a good cup every time, and you can use whatever espresso coffee you want. Easy to keep clean and doesn’t take up the whole kitchen. When I’m out of town, I miss it.

I love this little guy. I use it almost every day and have had it about 3 weeks now. I still haven't mastered the amount of foam versus steamed milk, but I have gone through three gallons of milk trying. It is fun making my lattes, mochas and cappuccinos though.
Overall, it's a great value for the price, and I have saved ample money from otherwise going to a big name place for my mocha.
I have taken it apart a few time to clean, but after the initial cleaning and taking off of the milk steamer knob, it seems the mojo that made steaming and frothing milk is gone. Perhaps not gone, but it seems that the seal isn't perfect, and thus it seems more difficult to easily choose to make frothed milk or steamed milk. Disclaimer though, it could easily be operator error, and I have had a lot of fun practicing. Whether it's a lot of steamed milk or a lot of froth, I have enjoyed this little device and it's ease of use (and ability to clean easily).

This is my first espresso machine and it came recommended by my uncle. So far it has been really good, fast, easy to clean, and makes great espresso I have not used the frothing wand and the tamper stinks so I bought one at a local store. I have been using Lavazza coffee and have been very satisfied with the flavor.

Starter Level Espresso Maker

This is a very basic version of an espresso maker. If you are looking to try making your own at home, this is a good way to start. That said, for just a bit more money, you might want to invest in a larger machine. My main complaint about this one is that the space where the espresso dispenses is very small. You cannot just place a regular sized coffee cup there unless you tip is sideways and slide it into place. Also, the 1st unit I received was malfunctioning and not pumping the water. The return and replace process at Best Buy was easy and fast. No issues whatsoever. Again, it is a basic machine, but will suit your needs if you are on a budget.

I was skeptical when I bought this machine, the quality and if the espresso will have crema or not, but was pleasantly surprised that it made excellent cup. I think I won't have to go to coffee chain shops anymore since this is better, cheaper and the best thing will pay for it own in a few months. I would advice to get a geek squad protection on it since watching youtube there are a lot of reviews that cheaper espresso machines tend to break in a couple of years so protection is always helpful. Overall glad I brought it.

As a coffee devotee, I knew I needed a new espresso maker. Having gone through three of them in the past, I was very selective on models. This one hits most of the "ideals" for a mechanical espresso maker. It has good warmup time, maintains pressure, and is easy to clean. The built in frother is a major plus, as is the ability to make one or two cups at the same time. Only downside? It does not auto-stop so it requires attention while brewing. But that is a small price for a great machine.

This is a great machine for those looking for an inexpensive espresso machine. Definitely not as good as a professional machine, but it gets the job done in the morning if you’re not looking to spend $5 everyday on a latte.

This is the little espresso machine that could. Have already made about 50 drinks with it. imagine that cost in a coffee house compared to what you can buy the supplies for them at the store.

I like the brand name. Worked perfectly. Convinient to take in road trips. Only 4 stars because I do have to maneuver my larger capuchino cups under filter to fit. But that’s no problem. Just takes a few more secounds.

Overall, I am happy with this machine and the espresso it can produce (with good beans of course). I do wish there was more clearance for cups and more clearance under the frothing wand. Also, I am concerned about how often I can remove the frothing wand plastic end piece for cleaning before it wears the threads.
It's a bit expensive but not excessively so. I am going to hope that I paid for quality and longevity.
It heats up quickly and cleans easily. Overall operation is simple.
I would recommend this machine for anyone who enjoys espresso and espresso based drinks.

I was on average stopping for a Starbucks macchiato 5 times a week. I googled the recipe and within two weeks paid off this machine in what I would of spent at the drive through! This machine is fantastic and easy to use! I think I have my coffee perfected and enjoy making it over buying it! Only thing I recommend is buying your own tamper. The one on the machine is close to the spout and if you are packing the espresso and machine is on, spouts get hot. Tampers $6 on Amazon!
