We really enjoy the DeLonghi pump espresso maker. The process and procedures were easy to learn, and it makes a great drink once you figure out the art of it. I only say this because it goes way beyond just drip coffee. The only negative is the limited clearance of the spouts to the base of the machine. We had a hard time finding cups that were short enough to fit underneath. Other than that, good product.

This little espresso machine fits in small places. The shots do not pack a punch but I am okay with that. It's $100 and I didn't expect the best thing ever. Make sure to buy a short frothing cup and short espresso cup. The machine is compact. For the first month I used a measuring cup so what does that tell you? I saved $25/week not going to Starbucks. In 4 weeks, the money spent is recovered in savings. Winner Winner Chicken Dinner.

Really like my espresso machine. It heats up quickly and makes great froth for a delicious latte.

Got this machine to replace my cheap one from Walmart. It makes a great shot with beautiful crema. The steamer works great and I can successfully make foam.

I had to practice pulling shots from this machine to get good espresso. I considered returning this item for 2 weeks until I learned the tricks. Now, I am completely happy with this purchase. You will need espresso cups or shot glasses which are not included and you will need a real tamper.

Too small gap for double espresso. Too noisy for frothing and the height is too small to insert the frothing cup.

It makes great espresso. It takes 45 minutes to an hour to warm up. Leave it on. It is complicated. Not for someone that wants one cup of coffee first thing.

Would give this a 5 if the steamer didn't leak a bit. Other than that we love it.

Good crema. Just follow instructions. Much better than non-pump machine I had before. Pump is kind of noisy, but.probably they all are.

I tried this espresso machine at a friends house and it was the best coffee I have ever tasted at home. I literally went out and bought 2 that day. One for me and one for a friend and we both love them. The only reason for 4 stars- takes 15 mins to heat up. Once you have it down you can make coffee in about 2 mins if it's heated.

I've had mine for about 2 years and it's great. It has held up wonderfully, haven't needed any replacements or fixes, and I use it daily. Can debase with vinegar every few months to keep running well. As a starter, or basic straightforward espresso machine it's great. Pulls your shots and foams milk. Good size too, doesn't take too much counter space. It doesn't provide a super fast pull but it gets the job done with crema. I love it! I'll use it till it quits before upgrading or anything, it's great!

Machine seems to work well, though honestly I don't use it. But it seems easy enough to use. Good price.

I really love this machine. It makes great espresso and cap's. Make sure you get a small stainless steel milk frother pitcher or the frothing wand will be too short. This is a nice machine for sure!

For the price this espresso machine is great. Easy to use; makes creamy espresso. One negative is that is little bit loud.

I did my research prior to purchasing and found that budget pump espressos, such as this, have a common problem with leakage within the 2-years. With this said, certainly purchase the 2-year warranty. For under $100 total, this machine was excellent for me as I was entering the home brewed espresso market for both the economical and variable coffee reasons. This machine is able to pull great shots, albeit consistency is an issue at first, but over time you will learn to pull consistent shots as you play around with the settings and temperature timings. The steam wand will not create very rich foam, but you cannot achieve this in this price point. It created enough foam for my liking. If you are a foam fanatic, then you should already be thinking about an independent maker. If not, always drain out the steam wand prior to foaming milk by running it into an empty cup (preferably your drinking cup to get it up to temperature). If you are experienced (probably on a budget for good coffee), this model has plenty of aftermarket products. Hence you are not limited to the included pressurized baskets. I recommend this product to someone new to espresso brewing and the at home brewing market. You cannot find a better product for under $100 (incl. warranty) with the brand goodwill. Get the 2-year warranty for when the product eventually fails, you will claim your credit and will be experienced enough to transition to a mid-market product such as the Delonghi Dedica (like I have).
