Very good for the price. I recommend to use it a dozen times before you drink your first expresso. I use it with Lavazza coffee and it's perfect if you like Italian style expresso. I would read instructions before using it.

I’m no espresso expert so I cannot provide much information on how great it performs and since it is the first and only espresso machine I’ve ever used I cannot compare. It appears to be doing the job well enough and has not broken, but I’ve only had it for about two months and I’ve only used it four times.

The DeLonghi EC155 is a pretty basic esspresso machine but is good for a first machine. It is a manual machine so you don't have the luxury of hitting one button and having the machine do the rest for you. However, if you know what you're doing you should be okay. The only thing that threw me off was how short and awkward the steam handle was. Makes it kind of difficult to steam your milk, but not impossible.

my wife absolutely loves it we are able to make our own specialities at home. we had to run right out and add the final touch- the rock candy on a stick. works awesome and is easy to use.

Makes good coffee but lacks a good tamper. Other than that, coffee and foam is good.

The best expresso machine for the money. Performs like machines 2x the cost. The only downside is waiting 15 minutes for the water to heat and the pressure to build. Well worth the wait for the price.

Bought this to replace a failed Mr. Coffee espresso maker. I was really pleased with the ease of use. The espresso that it produces is as good as if not better than store bought espresso. Makes an excellent froth.

I got this because I wanted to have an espresso machine at home but didn't want to invest $150+ as I didn't know how often I'd use it to make lattes. I fell in love with having this machine at home; its easy to use and makes a great espresso. I ended up making a latte for myself almost every day when I got home from work. The only complaint I have is it could use a decent tamper but those are inexpensive to add in.

It's a great coffee machine for a lower price than other similar ones. Easy to use and looks good:-) very happy with this purchase.

It works great - makes perfect espresso but the cups I normally use will not fit between dispenser and the drip pan. Solved that with an inexpensive shorter cup!!

I think this is the third or fourth of these machines we've owned over the last decade, which should tell you what you really need to know: a) it might last you a couple of years, depending on how attentive you are to routine cleaning, and b) despite the relatively short lifespan, it makes good enough coffee that you won't feel too bad about picking up another one to replace it in a couple of years. It's always tempting to spring for a much fancier model, but given the number of things that can go wrong with an espresso machine — and the fact that ours is churning out a minimum of 4 cups per day, sometimes more — this model still seems like the best value in low-end espresso machines.

Expresso and cappuccino taste great, but difficult to use & clean.

Both the espresso and frother element work great. Took 2-3 times to get it right but have it down and really like it.

We got this home and it made a horrible loud noise when we tried to use it. Went through all the troubleshooting, still didn't work. I'm sure we could have easily exchanged it, but for the price...it felt cheap, and wasn't worth exchanging. We returned it for another.

I love the size and how fast the product works. Easy clean up.

Great product, easy to use and good quality. The only downside is having to grind the beans which I purchased a manual grinder which is good, but can be a little inconvenient.

After reading many of the online reviews of this Espresso maker, I concluded that most of the negative reviews were due to operator error. This machine, when used as directed AND with common sense makes excellent lattes and espresso drinks with ease. Fill the grounds holder level, then tamp gently. Use a thermometer when frothing your milk to get the correct temperature. One of the reviews I saw somewhere had the author complaining that the frother didn't make foam fine enough to do latte art. This machine costs less than $100! If you want the quality of a $2000 commercial machine, spend the money!
