I researched extensively these guys from the least expensive to the highest. Feature's wise the crossover point in which the "guts" of all these machines steps up to a more professional barista hardware type is way more than I was willing to spend. So in a nutshell, up to that point, all these machines on the amateur price point are essentially all the same internally, and you are paying more for the "pretty" looking ones. And also remember the coffee you use its will make it or break it your final result product. This machine is great and I get great espresso out of it with premium coffee.

The stainless steel tank made this an easy decision. My older model (by another manufacturer) had pot metal or other alloy boiler which corroded like aluminum. I tried to clean it but the corrosion kept coming back. So I bought the DeLonghi, read the instructions. I ran water through each of the filters and also the steam jet enough for the equivalent of about 25 servings all added together. I can now make espresso that rivals good Italian restaurant brew. Crema and all. Use a high grade of espresso coffee. If it is too bitter, use less coffee. If it is too weak, use more. Only use demitasse cup(s) the right amount of water. Always tamp down the coffee and clean the upper edge of the metal filter. A little practice is required, but it is worth it. I enjoy this machine.

It works well for me, makes great espresso and is easy to clean. No problems, if you're a hipster or coffee snob this may not be for you, but if you're a normal human being who likes to intake caffeine then it's for you.

It does the job. It's my second one. The first endure for 4 years. Remember this is not an expresso machine that does all the work for you.

This makes great espresso! The foamer is a little clumsy but is ok. For the price, there is nothing better. Would be little better if it came with a handheld tamper.

This is my first espresso machine and I like it so far. I've been using it for a few weeks now. It heats up fast contrary to what the manual says. The filter seems to be well built. The only gripe I have is the steamer wand, it's way to short. If it had a couple of inches more, then it would be perfect. Cleanup is fairly easy. Overall, a very good product for the price.

We had just returned from Europe and needed an espresso machine that wouldn't break the bank. After much research, we settled on this one. I used to enjoy coffee. Now I think I'm in love. Easy to use after some practice, even with the "I need coffee before attempting to make coffee" dilemma. The steamer wand could be a little higher, but we put a trivet stand under the machine to lift it up a bit and solved that issue. There is not a lot of clearance under the drip, only about 2.5 inches. We use a 2 3/8" espresso cup. Then the milk gets steamed in the cup we will actually drink from and the espresso gets poured in afterwards. It's non-traditional, but works for us, and saves us from needing a separate steamer cup.

I have owned many Expresso makers, this is the best ever. Love the fact it produces Expresso with crema on top, and if you froth to make a cappacino, it froths perfectly. Small footprint on your counter.

We weren't sure if we wanted to invest in an espresso machine so we decided to try it out with this model. It works great, isn't difficult to clean, heats quickly and delivers delicious espresso.

Makes ok espresso. Don't expect this to be best performing or best build quality. Been using it almost daily for about 2 months and it seems to hold up fine so far.

Absolutely no problems, and this machine performed exactly as intended. Note: In the past I'd spent much more on espresso makers that quickly failed -- this one held up perfectly to a full week of high-volume use during an extended meeting offsite.

Makes great espresso. Downside is it doesnt come with any cups and the space to put one is incredibly small. Most coffee mugs will not fit
