Crisp clean sound with plenty of power and easy to use interface make this a good system for anyone.

After reading several reviews and comparing other models within the same price range I decided to purchase the Denon - 1155w 7.2-ch. 4k Ultra Hd. I was not disappointed as the sound quality is top notch. I did find some delay from time to time in the pass-through to my PS4 but nothing that would make me not recommend this model. I would highly recommend this model for anyone looking to spend money in this units price range.

I had to replace my Yamaha surround sound receiver due to a lightning storm. Was looking for a Yamaha of like model but could not get one at the store. Sales rep suggested the Denon and gave me a walk through on the product. It connected seamlessly into my system and sounds great. Also has more features than my original. I am well pleased and would recommend this product for sure.

Best home theater good sound lot of power lot of features 4K ready

I have really enjoyed this home theater system. I exspecially like the two subwoofer option. It sounds amazing. Plenty of power. The volume is usually set around 60% when my wife has asked me if I wanted her to call the neiboors to see if they were also enjoying our movie. I would recommend this system to anyone who enjoys whatching movies.

This AVR unit offers a lot of features at a great price compared to much of the competition with a ton of connections, great sound, and the Audyssey calibration works wonders. I'd have kept it BUT... I have a Vizio P-series with smart cast and am using the ARC connection for audio and no matter what configuration I set it will intermittently drop the audio when casting and both audio and video when running from a bluray player or game console etc. My wife has not been happy with having to turn the CEC control on off on the receiver and frankly neither have I. Even with the firmware completely updated this happens and searching through the Denon website they know its a problem and recommend just turning CEC control off completely to address the issue but then the ARC does not function at all, meaning I can't use it. If not for this one glaring issue it is a fine receiver with a lot of features commonly found in much more expensive AVRs and I would recommend it to anyone not needing to use CEC or ARC.

This system has worked great providing high quality sound with simple installation. The system has multi zone volume control, enabling you to control two different zones with a single console - very nice, especially when you want to boost the sound on your back patio without blasting your theater setting.

Easy setup and sounds great. Has all the new features.

I had bought the Denon S720 version, but I thought that it was missing some power. I returned that one and got this model, what a difference it made, sound quality is better, setup is pretty straightforward, I like the automatic setup with the microphone. If you don't want to break the bank I do recommend getting this receiver.

I purchased a Denon AVR-S720W last week. I love it. Produces the sound I was looking for and sounds perfect in my living. So many options to make the sound just right. Love how easy the Denon is to set up. This is my second Denon unit as I put a AVR-S910W in my basement. Both are GREAT!

This receiver is awesome! Sound is great, and setup was easy. The on-screen setup assistant walks you through the process of calibrating speakers, connecting components, and connecting to the network. First Denon receiver I have had, and so far I am very impressed!

I replaced my older AVR and this unit is easy to use and is much better at selecting surround modes than my older unit. Connections were easy and did not take long to get all the settings adjusted. Sound is very good and even better with my new speakers.

For the price, this is a great all-around 4K receiver. It has all the features most would ever need. Built-in wifi and Bluetooth plus your favorite internet music. The sound and video quality are excellent using 4K streaming on Amazon, Netflix, Hulu etc.

Bought on clearance, was a great price since I wanted updated 4k and 3D pass through capabilities for my receiver along with a 2nd zone. The receiver sounds great, wish the app could be improved so that thew 2nd zone source could be better utilized through my phone.

After purchasing the wrong receiver, not enough speaker outlets, this was just what we needed. Very easy to set up, detailed and very easy to go back if you don't set up a component right at that moment. Sound is great and the set up was easy.

I just switched from a Yamaha RX-V663 and I couldn't be more pleased! Easy to set up and works seamlessly with my Harmony Remote and Samsung TV. I feel (without any science to back it up) that everything just looks and sounds better.

If you want the best of the best AVRs then look no further than Denon! This system produces superb sound quality. Of course your sound is only as good as your speakers, so that is why I use Martin Logan speakers, which I purchased on Amazon about 6 years ago and they still work like they are brand new! If you want the best AVR on the market, you got to use the best speakers to go with it! My previous AVR was also a Denon, and it still works perfectly fine after 6 years of use. I bought this newer one because my old one was only Dolby 5.1 and did not support 4K output. This one supports 4K like a dream and it also supports Dolby Atmos 7.2.2.

After checking out the reviews I thought this may be a good upgrade from my old 5.1 system. It is!! Great sound, easy to set up, easy to control, and just enough extras to make it worth the money!!

I have a S....y receiver but it had way to many settings to get it right for me and put it in storage and bought the Denon which is much easier to setup and operate. Plus it sounds GREAT!
