I purchased this AV receiver hoping that I will be able to hear all my media layers in a second location( Zone2). This however could not be done for several reason. The so called zone 2 can not be used due to the fact that can't deliver Audio which is fed thru HDMI, optic or digital Cable. The receiver has only 1 Audio Input receptacle for this purpose. Also the Zone 2 Volume is set at 70 which makes it useless. So don't plan to get full benefit from " Zone2".

This Denon receiver is simple and easy to set up. It has enough juice to power up even tower speakers and 7.1 home theatre system. It can decode Dolby Atmos incase you're planning to add dolby atmos speakers.

Purchased specifically for split room capabilities. Just installed home theater and needed a receiver that could simultaneously play on music onthe patio and TV in the den. 10 thumbs up + Bluetooth

This receiver is loaded with options. Not only a great TV/DVD amp. It has Bluetooth and HEOS for internet music and ALEXA compatibility. Highly recommend, and the best price I’ve found at Bestbuy.

Replaced my aging Denon with this unit. Does everything as promised and much simpler to use and set-up than older unit. The internet radio feature and wireless connectivity is awesome.

At full blast, I was thoroughly convinced that I was inside a theatre. I could only imagine the effect with 7.2 channel. (I have it on 5.1 channel). Definitely worth the investment.

bought the Denon AVR-S730H to replace an oLDER denon I had set up was easy set the microphone in the middle of the room and it basicly set it self up went thru each speaker individually and set up to the parameters of the room. Had a little trouble setting up Zone 2 but a call to Denon customer service had me on the right track in a matter of minutes and walked me thru the operation of the unit. I would highly recommend this receiver.

Denon is awesome! Sounds great. I did not replace my old Kenwood sub-woofer or speakers I had with my old system. I hooked them up to this Receiver and it sounds amazing!

This is a great reciever for the money its very easy to setup and stays cool in the cabinet i have it in vs the onkyo reciever that burned out on me after 3 yrs of use

Wet easy to use once set up appropriately. Makes switching between types of entertaining a piece of cake. Very happy with the purchase. Highly recommended.

easy to set up, great sound ,the wirless work great , same as the bluetooth.

Setup was easy. Love all of the ports and the bluetooth. Sound syncs up nicely with video on my TV. The remote is well thought-out with big buttons.

Had to call Geek Squad, who had difficult in setting up the receiver. Once set up it was worth the price.

Has a lot of features and the audessy auto calibration was easy. The app is nice and helpful although slow sometimes. Great sound quality. Lacks some volume (been fine for me, just feel like I turn it up a lot to get the volume I want. Haven't had issues with volume just always have it high. Ex) above 70 out of 100 for normal listening). Overall great product.

This is by far one of the best receivers money can buy! Had a Yamaha before this one and the denon blows it out of the water!!

The Denon 1155w is a strong 7.2 channel receiver for our family. We have it running our media room and directing our second receiver in our living room and patio. The set up is super easy and the Heos app makes the experience so much easier! We have never had a Denon product before but this one will make us come back to this company.

I replaced an older denon with this. I have all andrew jones speakers hooked up to it utilizing 7.2 with atmos. The 4k seems to work well. I have DirecTV 4k service and it looks great. I rarely put it past 50% as it is very loud at that point. I use it to stream Sirius radio as well. Worth every penny

My 10 year old receiver was starting to fail, and after many reviews recommending this box, I decided to give it a whirl. First things first, the sound quality is fantastic, has plenty of inputs and outputs, and a great design. A slight annoyance (and simply because I haven't looked into it much) is the ease of switching inputs. Currently the Xbox and Wii are going through the device, but the TV (through ARC) is always the default device. The biggest con to this device is the connectivity between devices and audio- I have a Pixel 2, and no matter what I do, I can't get the receiver to play audio from it, even though it says it's playing. I then have to "reboot" the receiver, as it will not accept any commands from the remote or box. I have not tried with an iOS device yet.
