The Set Up Assistant has been simplified and is very intuitive, on screen navigate is help by an in proved display GUI. Apple control Apps work seamlessly but Android not at all for me. The system does not come with an instructional handbook or CD.

Replaced a four year old Yamaha with this mid-priced Denon. Good performance and very well satisfied with what is really a mid-priced receiver compared to many Denon receivers. Great quality.

Easy Setup. Sounds great. Works well with my polk speakers. Auto setup with the microphone takes 15 minutes but takes the guess work out.

There's probably no such thing as future proof with home theater products, but this receiver ticks off most of the boxes for the time being. Dual HDMI outputs, 8 inputs, all HDMI 2.0a for 4K/HDR support. Dolby Atmos and DTS: X support (although limited to just two speakers). I had an Onkyo receiver before but was wary of them with their recent HDMI troubles. I miss some of their audio presets and feel it was a little punchier for home theatre vs. music, but this Denon is a competent, all-around receiver. Denon app works decently as a remote when it works, which is a bit spotty at times.

Bought this receiver on sale for a great price! Has been easy to implement into my home theatre system and connects to my phone and other devices easily as well.

After moving into a new home and finally getting my own cave, I purchased this in the hopes of having my own theater experience. I am not disappointed, the sound is remarkable, goosebumps inducing and the features of this receiver are just what I wanted.

The receiver has been great so far sounds that iI did not notice . Power wise its good I have 6 ohm speakers and you can change it for that so makes a little more power .

We purchased this receiver on the recommendation of the sales staff. At first we were a little concerned about setting it up, but when we had questions and called Denon, they were awesome! Great support, and highly recommend!

Works well with Pioneer Andrew Jones speakers. Setup was painless. User interface was easy to use. Plays nice with my other equipment (including stream sound via Windows 10 Play To).

Did research and compared a bunch. Like this receiver and it has pass through which I didn't know it had. Yes there are better denons out there but I had to start somewhere.

This receiver has far exceeded my expectations. Plenty of hookups for everything I could possibly need to hook up. First, the audio quality is superb. Audio is clear and powerful. Secondly, and arguably the most important, the receiver is very easy to configure. There's an awesome on-screen display that will help you through all the setup. No complaints at all with this product. It's worth every penny.

Works great. Took some time setting up, but once set up, works awesome! Dual tuner to play inside and out. I love the on screen setting menu.
