Upgraded from a Denson avr-1312 to this unit when I purchased my 4k TV. The sound and picture quality are great. Setup was simple and the process to auto adjust the speakers to the room was even easier. Great unit.

Great receiver, with lots of clean power. My last 3 receivers have all been Denon, and I have no complaints. I just added a theatre in my home. And choose this to power my klipsch 7.2 surround system. I still have some tweaks to make, but this receiver seems to have what it takes, especially for the price-point. If you want to spend tons of money, pick something nicer, however- this range of receiver will satisfy even the more "spoiled" audio file folks...

Bought this on sale in December to replace an older 7.1 Pioneer that was still in good shape except for issues with the rear center surrounds (stopped working). Also wanted to prepare for 4k TV purchase later this year. This Denon has plenty of HDMI inputs (for me, anyway) and the sound quality is fantastic once I ran the Audyssey MultEQ. Wait for it to go on sale and snatch it up like I did. You won't regret it!

I am from the old school where RMS THD Ohms Impedance was a big factor...though it seems specs changed more with the digital era of technology. This was a good choice for specs vs cost vs quality. Pleased with the receiver.

Purchased this as a future ready man cave receiver for a 4K Vizio E65 TV that I am very thrilled with. Don't have 4K disks or satellite yet, but I needed a new receiver anyhow since my five year old Denon 1911 is now upstairs in our sunroom with a still-strong Panasonic plasma. Anyhow, this receiver does a great job opening up my set of last-gen B&W speakers (LCR 600 S3s). We are especially happy with the dialogue levels that are much clearer than with the 1911. I was thinking I might eventually have to upgrade the 600 S3s to the 2014 600-series (e.g., 685 S2s + HTM61 S2), but the speakers are holding their own. The clarity of the center channel is good on both ESPN broadcasts and home threater movies, (XMen First Class last night and X Apocalypse tonight), and this is due to the new Denon (many other reviewers have commented on the 920W's clarity, as well. THe receiver interface is very good, and I appreciate that this Denon lets me bump up the treble for the B&Ws, which are not as trebly as some of the new speakers on the market. All in all, we are extremely happy with the performance. An fact, even my 20-year-old Pioneer 6-CD changer -analog outputs, cassette packs and all - sounds great

I reviewed tech spec on this unit versus several competitors before zeroing in on the Denon. Chose it because we were also buying a new 4K 70" TV. Our old Onkyo AVR worked great, but didn't seem to process the 4K as well. The Denon provides a great picture and sound. It was very easy to get set up and operational. I highly recommend it.

I've barely scratched the surface with all the settings in this unit and love it already. You can get into it via the remote on screen, or even pull it up in a browser, which I think is way easier. Plenty of power, feature rich, and you can tweak even an individual speaker from your phone or computer. This was well worth the money.

I had a previous Denon receiver and loved it. Unfortunately it was not compatible with my new UHD TV. This has the same Denon quality but with HDMI inputs and outputs. Plus it talks with My Samsung TV and Panasonic 4K bluray player. Setup was easy and surround sound is great. There is no reason not to buy this product.

The Denon - 1295w 7.2-ch. 4k Ultra Hd And 3d Pass-through A/v Home Theater Receiver is the best I've owned. We have an older Bose 5.1 speaker system and the Denon has brought the speaker system back to life. The sound separation and sound quality amazing. . Easy setup and clearly written instructions. I would buy again.

This receiver was purchased for my theater room to supply a 7.1 high powered speaker system and it definitely performed as advertised. Plenty of power and full of features. Spend the additional dollars for this capable receiver!

Nice receiver seems to be working fine. The only problem I have with it is I think people who haven't set up receivers before will have a problem with no manual being included. The manual is online only, that being said set up was fairly easy but I have done this several times before. Good receiver if your on a budget. TRhis is the only reason I give it 4 stars.

With all The devices we find ourselves with today, the multiple HDMI inputs were a must. The front HDMI & USB are great for the fire-stick, and i LOVE the Bluetooth option !! Great machine, and i would hightluy recommend for its versatility & quality.

Denon - 1295w 7.2-ch. 4k Ultra Hd And 3d Pass-through A/v Home Theater Receiver - this is one of the best investments adding to my home theater. The sound is only surpassed by the quality of the picture and is an excellent mid-priced Atmos-ready receiver, with plenty of home cinema muscle and excellent usability. offers excellent surround sound performance for the money, especially for an Atmos-capable model. Music playback is accomplished and full-sounding. The comprehensive AVR control app for Android and iOS offers Wi-Fi streaming and source selection. The way to go if you want Atmos capability now or in the future is the Denon. For the price it's one of the best Atmos receivers so far. The remote control is streamlined from previous years and now it has a friendly selection of buttons and is relatively easy to use.

If you do not want to spend much but still want technology like 4K HDCP 2.2 & Atmos. This is the AVR you may like. The setup is very easy, picture & sound quality is amazing. AVR is not getting too hot like other AVR gets.

I purchased this AVR to replace an aging Pioneer AVR that had issues translating the HDMI signal from the Directv HR44 DVR. After initial setup, which was super simple, this unit is working perfectly!
