i bought this as a spare / backup amp. i have not used it yet though, because i have an older denon amp that still works okay

I'm a 3-time Denon owner, and I can tell you that Denon is great for TV/Movie listening. The onboard DACs, along with the Audyssey setup makes for a great sounding system for your above-average consumer/enthusiast. HEOS and the Denon app enhance the experience and multi-usage in your home or setup.

Work as expected, a little of a mess with all the cables but I’m pleased with the quality it offers.

This is a great receiver with awesome sound. Using with the procinema 600 speakers and it’s awesome.

I replaced an older Denon receiver that evidently lost it's mind. This one is easy to setup. The sound is amazing! I can't believe what I was missing in the surround mode. I'm hearing things now I never heard before. I highly recommend this one. Stays cool even when turned up.

I switched from Onkyo, not sure yet if I like it better. Setup was a little frustrating, volume varies between sources and seems to s little lower than expected for this power. The auto switching sometime works, often not. Confusing.

I have the Denon AVR-X4200W in command receiver for my greatroom and its been a very good addition with great features and sound quality. So I purchased the Denon AVR-X1400H for my bedroom and it has performed well and a great addition.

We have ceiling speakers and this system works great with them, good quality system.

I was worried it wouldn’t sound as good as a Yamaha, but it does. It’s easier to set up, easier to control and even allows you to stream your Sirius XM. I am having trouble getting my Blu-ray to connect, but I have not finished diagnosing the problem.

Magnolia’s Mason is the reason we bought this and the speakers, he came to our house and then committed time and effort to explain the product and how it all works, patient with our dumb, repetitive, un technological questions. Thanks to him for a pleasurable purchase.

This isn't the most expensive but certainly a great value for the money. It works seamlessly with my iPhone to stream music. Love the apps as well.

I bought this to replace an old Sony receiver that was running our entertainment center (ie, Paradigm speakers, blueray player, 62" screen, etc. For the most part, it was fairly straightforward to set up. However, I could never get the Bluetooth to work despite following the directions to a "T". So, I've had this for a couple of weeks, but no Bluetooth. I'll give it another shot in the next few days. Big picture, though, the sound it emits is very impressive.
