It does not have the technology to amplify record player input, so you'll need a preamp built for turntables, and plug it into AUX. Other than that, it's an amazing machine! I highly recommend Denon. My alternative was Yamaha but I'm happy I went with Denon. Read the product specs to see all the inputs/outputs.
