I bought this to replace an aging Yamaha home theater receiver (which has been retired to the garage - perfect for out there! Easy setup and sounds great!

THis is great home theater system for any 5.2 speaker system. Pairs well with by Samsung 8500, Roku and BluRay. Easy to setup, easy to calibrate speakers. If using a subamp woofer, set the front speakers to small to allow for the best bass boost from the woofer. I replaced a bad Onoko with this system, and I actually like this system better. Highly recommend.

this unit was easy setup and a great price! Replaced this i did have an onkyo that is junk will never buy onkyo again

This receiver performs perfectly when connecting to my home theater system (I have a Klipsch system). The bluetooth and other multiple features alone make this a bargain. the distribution of sound is great and it packs plenty of power for my 11 X 11 room. Add to that Denon's reputation of quality receivers and you can't go wrong purchasing this receiver.

Quality receiver. The unit is very easy to set up. If you have a smart tv you should buy a digital audio output cable to go with this unit.

After discovering the hdmi board was failing on myself current receiver, I started shopping around. Myself requirements were something with at least 5 hdmi inputs, a dedicated receiver instead of a combo bluray/stereo, on screen menu options (I'm spoiled), under $200 and a name I recognized. This hit all the marks. The only come I see are that it takes longer between input changes than my old unit and I had to switch to a powered subwoofer. The subwoofer was not it's fault and now my system sounds better for it.

I love this receiver. Easily accommodates all of my devices (I am using it with a Klipsch speaker set). The one downfall for me is the USB port on the front. It is no good to me other than for a phone charger. It won't allow me to play iPhone music using the USB adapter. But the Bluetooth makes up for that.

A very high tech receiver with 6 hdmi plugs and has two analog hooks up for older sets. Love voice set up as well. Lots of power!

This unit has everything it says, but we should have paid more attention. This unit you could only hook up so many speakers, and we ended up having one more speaker than allowed. Our own fault. I was going to give it 4 stars, but it's my own fault, the specs say what it has. So, couldn't fault the unit for my mistake like so many others do. The sound is great, the hookup is easy, the options are nice.

needed to replace old srs, left the speakers and used this receiver... easy set up, currently using w/o powered subwoofer (which is needed with this receiver), i'm not an audiophile, but nice crisp clear sound, plenty of power, use only for tv/movies, but nice all around receiver, definitely happy with purchase
