Our Bose Lifestyle system died and we replaced it with this Denon receiver matched with a nice Definitive Technologies speaker set. I am very happy with the sound and the way this receiver works. It was reasonably priced but has plenty of features and power for my surround sound setup.

I was looking to beef up the sound for our bedroom TV. I have a really nice pair of bookshelf speakers that I wanted to use. I picked this up because it was a reasonable price and offered the features that I wanted. Unfortunately it doesn't openly allow you to pick the option to have only two speakers. It took a lot of menu diving to figure it out. Once I got it though, I am very happy with my set up! It's reasonable for a bedroom and that's all I wanted.

This unit was easy to hook up and provided high quality sound within minutes. Good quality, great sound.

I am extremely satisfied with this Denon receiver. It easily sounds as if it is 2-3x beyond its price range. The set up was very easy and the set up mic was a great addition. The Bluetooth is great for streaming music from devices like my computer or phone.

i needed to upgrade to an HDCP 2.2 compliant receiver that could pass through 4K UHD signal from multiple 4K sources. After shopping around and reading every review on the internet, i decided to go with the Denon AVR-S510BT. So far it has been great. It has all of the basic features that you need, but does not have a lot of the features that i personally did not need. It also sounds great. i could not stand playing music through my previous receiver (same speakers) because it sounded horrible. i just unhooked my dedicated music stereo, and put it in another room. This is a good choice if you want something with a basic feature set, that is compatible with 2016, and sounds good.

I bought this receiver based on the great reviews. Great sound, and very clear. The only issue was that the FM radio does not utilize all the speakers, only the fronts and sub (2.1). Maybe there is a setting to bypass this?

My old receiver couldn't handle my new 4K OLED LG TV. This unit syncs nicely with the tv and also has Bluetooth. It's a 5:1 with decent but not overwhelming power. It is a good entry level Denon.
