This avr is a great unit for the money. I replaced an older Harmon Kardon unit and this unit was a breeze to set up. Sounds great.

This is a very good product, perfect balance price/quality. Its ver easy to setup, and you can control other devices via HDMI.

We've had it for a month or so now. We wanted a good receiver without having to spend a crazy amount. This one was super easy to set up once we firgured out that we couldn't use the HD DVD player that had speakers that came with it (we bought it years ago) luckily we had an extra (basic DVD player like from Wal-Mart for $35) HD DVD player that we could hook up. As far as electronics go, I don't pretend to understand it but if there are directions I can usually it things working.

easy to hook up , great surround sound. Trying to figure out how to connect more hdmi devices to pass through.

We connected the AVR to existing Samsung TV, Verizon Fios Box, DVD/VCR box, CD Player, 3 speakers and subwoofer, and more. Great sound all around. The pass-thru option for when the box is off works great - meaning we get sound/video on the TV even with the AVR box is off. Devices connected directly to TV also playback thru AVR as desired. Bluetooth for playing our Spotify songs works great (though we wish it would remember more than one paired device for faster connecting). Auto setup for speakers was spot-on. Comes with FM/AM antennas, which worked well, but navigating directly to favorite stations is a bit cumbersome. Remote works great. Setup options are very flexible and intuitive, and online manual is very detailed. Denon customer service is outstanding. Had a question about settings, called-in, and immediately had a techie that completely understood and solved the problem.

Wow, is this receiver amazing! Surround sound setup is a snap using the included mic. The sound may not be loud enough to blow your windows out, but it is a wonderful combination of rich, warm, and precise. I usually like to customize the sound on my devices, but found that I simply could not improve on the built-in settings. You will not find pure sound anywhere near this price point.

The sound from my music, movies and gaming has changed into a whole new experience. Gaming has leveled up! Explosions in games make my whole room tremor with my Sony subwoofer. Movies feel like you're in the middle of the action with the surround sound. And I find myself getting into a better mood listening to my music because it just sounds so good!

Had to replace my 10-yr old receiver with new unit to allow connection of a new TV and other HDMI connected devices. Connection of the Dennon was easy to all devices. Pleased with the cost/value of the Dennon for my application. Calibration of receiver to 5.2 speakers performed well. After 1 week of use, I am pleased with sound and functionality.

I was hoping that this receiver had full access to the app and actually it did not. the only thing this is good for is Bluetooth through walls. I wanted to control full app capabilities through a wall and this not do. I had to upgrade to wifi denon receiver. I was mis informed by the salesman at bestbuy. other wise I would of gave it 5 stars.

I just bought this AV Receiver to replace my 10 years old Onkyo for the kids game room. We also upgraded to a 4K TV and my old AV Receiver was not handling very well the new TV and it was definitively not 4K ready. The setup was pretty easy and the microphone is definitively a plus when you want to make your speakers are calibrated correctly. Also I really like you are able to do all the setup directly on the TV with menus. This AV Receiver has a lot of receiver and Bluetooth is always a plus (I did not try it yet). Regarding the speaker wire connection I am not a fan , you cannot use the banana plugs with this AV (most of the entry level AV receiver have the same connection). But that was not a deal breaker and the price was right

I work overseas so my time using the receiver was limited to just a few days. I am exploring all possibilities of use and will connect my HD TV and blue-ray player next! So far, this receiver, paired with my new Audio Technica turntable has exceeded my expectations for nostalgic satisfaction of listening to my LPs!

The surround sound effect is so cool that you feel like you are right there. I replaced an older receiver that wasn't designed for 4K ultra. All of the sounds, low and high frequencies, come through much richer and so powerful even when the volume is turned down. I didn't need a 7 channel receiver and this one is perfect for my speakers and my room size. I run my 4K streaming through and xbox one S and have not had any complaints. I am partially color blind and the 4K picture pops out. I can actually see and hear so much more with this receiver.

It was a really easy setup and it sounds great. All kinds of HDMI slots so you can hook up a wide assortment of entertainment components.

I have had this receiver now for a couple of months. And I can definitely say that this Denon receiver is an upgrade over a Pioneer receiver I had. Brought my Klipsch speakers and subwoofers to life. Highly recommend!

We were very happy with our previous Denon but one of the inputs died after 10+ years. So we purchased this and not only was it easier to install it was added features and also seems to be giving us a better picture.

After having this amp 2 weeks I can't complain at all. Very easy setup. Just be sure to have the tv handy. Sound is excellent. It has my old speakers come to life. Glad I didn't replace those. Great purchase.
