I got a new 4K TV, so I decided to update my entire setup. I wanted 5 hdmi ports on my receiver, and this was a good option for the money. One of the negative points on it, is that I can't rename the hdmi ports, something that I could do in the Yamaha receiver that this one replaced. That is not a reason to loose a star, the missing star is for the bad quality of customer support received by Denon.I was trying to enable HDR for Apple TV though the receiver, after I was able to do so when connecting my Sony TV directly to the Apple TV. Denon's response was that "Apple created something so new that none of the Receiver manufacturers could catch up". Of course this was a cheap and lazy response. I ended up relying on Sony's support and knowledge base: there I was able to find out how to fix the problem for the Denon receiver. Over all a good receiver for the price, but be prepare to spend some time to get all the functions to work.

Very happy with this purchase. We needed a receiver for so long and glad we held out for this one. Wifi enabled allows you to play music for any bluetooth device. Works great with our speakers.

I just installed this receiver this weekend. I upgraded my home theater and needed a new receiver to handle 4K. Set-up was a snap. Easy to use on-screen options. Power and and sound quality are great for this entry level receiver. My only wish is it had four 4K HDMI inputs (it has 3) but for the price, it's still a great value. It does have 2 non-4K HDMI inputs bringing the total HDMI inputs to 5. Bluetooth connectivity is a plus at this price. Love the Denon!

Amps have come so far in the past 20 years. I'm able to connect to it through Bluetooth I can stick a USB in it and play music that I've stored on there it connected so easily to my TV and best of all it's got a clean pure sound. You can tell the unit is well-made just by its weight. The power supply is well over 50% of the weight of any unit and this one is well engineered. It is a reasonably priced absolutely fantastic piece of equipment.

I recently purchased a 4k TV and did not have any intention of replacing my old Denon receiver but when I came to my senses and realized my old receiver did not have 4k capabilities I went with the newer version of the same one. Did not disappoint, this receiver fit into my man cave perfectly, rich deep sound, easy to setup/configure, all around the best receiver brand out there as far as I am concerned.

This was my first surround sound system. The new house had the speakers and wiring but no receiver. This receiver was very easy to hook up and works great.

Replaced an older Denon receiver with this unit. Now able to connect our tv again, along with audio equipment. Once again, very pleased with a Denon unit.

Speakers on my tv went out and we "thought" receiver went out too. Found out it might have just been HDMI cords but love the receiver fo r the price

Sounds very good and is very user friendly. I also like the Bluetooth

This is a great receiver. Pass through works, but does have some lag. Not overly powerful, but enough to sound great with surround sound

You dont need to spend loads of money for quality. This met my expectations powering my twin floor BA VR975. I would recommend it.

Works and sounds great. easy to use. I love that I can use my roku remote controller to turn up and down the receiver volume.

Bought to replace aging Sony 5.1. Does an ok job, sound quality is passable, remote volume control is poor - extremely unresponsive (takes forever to raise/lower volume). HDMI auto-sense works well. For the price it’s a fair deal, but I’d spend a bit more and get a better unit.

The receiver has excellent sound and all the features have worked as advertised. I had no trouble setting up the system.

Has worked great. Have cheap speakers from a cheap system and they sound great. Can't wait to upgrade to good speakers.

Programming was simple and the quality is spot on. This is my third Reciever they tipicaly last about 4 to 6 years.

great unit for the price! does everything I need. why spend a fortune when this delivers just great sound!

I needed to update my receiver for HDMI inputs. This receiver was very easy to hook up and the auto speaker set up was a breeze. The sound quality is excellent after making some adjustments. There are several sound modes to optimize the listening experience. Over all a very good receiver for the price.

Great addition to our overall TV package - provides great sound and everything hooked to it just right.

Great receiever for our game room. Works well with the Universal remote and surround sound in the room.
