We selected this receiver because it had all the functions we needed and was much cheaper than models with lots more functionality. We wanted a receiver for television viewing and streaming services. The quality is excellent, the installation and set-up was easy, and we are very happy with it.

For the price great sounds and it is easy to set up and works perfectly

Like I said in my summary, for the price it does the job; auto setup was a breeze, but I did have to go back in and manually adjust to meet my needs.

I can see words on the screen that's it. No information on how to DENON AVR-S530BT connect to ONKYO DX-C390. So then no pieces are not working. My bad not should if I Should bought a Stereo Receiver, CDC system. Instead a AVR

This is now my second receiver and like them a lot. I have two locations and why this is my second receiver. One trick to understand with their receivers is to find the surround sound one likes the best. Once this is done hold the scene button until it saves. If this isn't done, the receiver changes the sound on each channel for tv and it's super annoying.

Easy hook-up, good sound, can hook-up a subwoofer, recommend

The unit was on sale and feature wise compared very favorably with other similar and higher end products. Installed, the system worked pretty well. Controls seemed easy enough for those familiar with systems and the auto balancing process seemed OK. The unit is tall. Good for heat dispersal but be careful if you don’t have much vertical shelf space. No cabling other than cheap FM and AM antennae is included, so be sure you have your own speaker cabling and input line from your connected devices. Worst issue was sound volume. Set up to a Bose speaker system (passive subwoofer) and had to turn sound up to the 60’s (!!!) to be heard! Maybe it was the subwoofer pass through but was never able to resolve this. It was a bargain system that met most needs.

The quality, features and ease of use are well worth the money.

I have this in my Movie Room - - - - It controls my surround sound 5.2 Speakers including Center channel and Subwoofer - - - - I recommend buying a TV with ARC because this DENON Receiver should be connected to that ARC on the TV (most new tv's in 2/20/20 now have the ARC HDMI hook-up).

Great low price Receiver with 4K and hdr Passthrough

Able to control the input from each connected device with one control. Teamed up with Bose speakers and sounds great.

We have a 12 year old Denon that still works like it’s new. So it was only natural to buy another for the movie room.

Replaced a 15 year old Onkyo, that didn't have HDMI pass thru, etc. This Denon receiver is nicely priced and has all the features I need. I'm much happier now that the speech is "synchronized" from my TV to my stereo speakers, since I now can use the HDMI inputsfrom my cable box to the receiver and then to my TV

My Best Buy in-store Magnolia salesperson recommended this receiver for our home theater surround sound configuration consisting of 4 in-wall speakers, a center channel speaker and a wireless subwoofer. This Denon is one of the lower priced options in this category and for our needs produces great sound.

Price and specs were good on this item, The first one I bought had a bad rear channel in it, brought it back to best buy and told them the problem. they gave me another and it works great
