I have been an audiophile for years. This AVR is outstanding. Easy to set up. Excellent quality and a no nonsense operation.

Easy to set up and use. Has great sound and lots of good features (HEOS and internet radio in particular).

AVR-S650H Purchased to work with new vizio 70". Works perfectly using eARC HDMI. The Denon controls TV and Xbox and 4K player as well as Xfinity Cable box with no issues. Running 2 Cerwin Vega speakers and center channel only. Can easily control all Denon setting with my PC over wireless network. Can control EQ settings as well as all speaker levels. Exactly what I needed for my system.

Very awesome for my first AV receiver. I have an Xfinity flex and PS4 connected to this and I stream TV using my TV's built in apps and this receiver can handle everything just fine. I also stream music over wifi from all of my devices and it works great. The only thing is the receiver always defaults to the first HDMI input when I'm trying to stream music, but it's not a huge annoyance. And the user interface is very dated but gets the job done.

Really nice sound. Customizable and very user friendly. I get excellent audio from my turntable, my TV and my desktop computer.

The sound coming out of the receiver is amazing! I would recommend this to anybody! Also, the set up was very easy to do!

Had to replace my 80's Yamaha , the Denon has the power and quality I was looking for. I don't have any negatives at this time.

Replaced my 10 year old Denon with this updated model. Great value for the price. Fantastic sound and easy setup.

didnt need a 7.2 or anything fancy as my den was only wired for 5.1 - works great - good value

After two years and one month, my receiver stopped powering up. Removed the cover thinking that a fuse blew but found the power supply board fried. There appeared to be corrosion on the board which I mentioned to the service center and it was immediately assumed that liquid spilled or leaked on the unit which was not the case. There was zero evidence of liquid leaking into the unit such as staining on the cover, etc. This was not covered under warranty. To have the unit serviced, it would have cost me around half of the price for the unit. No more Denon for me! Back to Yamaha. Initially, I liked the receiver. Good value for the features.

Takes a little but to set it up, but works well. Good sound, easy to use. Needs to be able to handle a second set of speakers

This receiver had good reviews, it is so much better than my Pioneer. Set up was easy, sound is much better.

My old Receiver started to act up during a move and so I ended up having to get a new one. This Denon worked perfectly with my setup and was a nice upgrade. It was easy to set up and incorporate into what I already had. If anything, it was easier than the last time I had to set up a receiver. It has also been easy to use and customize based on what I have hooked up and use it for.

This Denon replaced a 60 yr old Sony which finally called it quits. The Denon is easy to connects to different peripherals automatically I have not found out how to connect the subwoofer. It sets up on the TV screen when first turned on -- gone are the days of connecting cables and you are finished. The problem I have with this unit is that using headphones turns off the speakers. Which makes matching hearing ability to individuals difficult. It is made for young ears.
