Great receiver. Easy setup. Love the mic to analyze the room sound and adjust the speakers. Plenty of connections. Plenty of options for setup. Highly recommend. I love Denon!

I will not review this product as audiophile point of view. the receiver is amazing for small to medium room. using for my new setup, comming from a old pioneer elite. Paired this receiver with my morel speakers. Audysses is not something that I like, but for a regular user will get the job done. still working on the settings and dsp. will update later for a final review.

Excellent receiver! I just upgraded from a Denon AVR-1712 to this receiver after nearly 10 years of service after finally upgrading to a 65” LG E9 OLED. The old 1712 was just too outdated for all the modern specs of these newer TVs. The X1600H is basically the closest thing to the 1712, spec-wise, but upgraded with all the nice 2019 features. Was not let down, totally completed the upgrade to the LG OLED, and now everything works beautifully together. Very happy with it! The old 1712 is still kicking in the bedroom with zero issues, even with daily usage since 2011, and I expect this one will be too. Denon customer for life!

This was a reasonably priced replacement for an old Yamaha receiver. This is a far more advanced piece of equipment than the Yamaha. I am currently only using the audio functionality of the unit since it’s not currently part of a TV system. So I can’t review that aspect of the unit. My reason for giving it 4 out of 5 stars was because in order to set it up you must connect it to a video display to initialize the unit. In order to that I had to bring it back to the store. My original salesperson either was not aware of that or neglected to tell me when I told him it was going to be setup for audio only.

Love Denon receivers... this is our second.. Easy to set up and a joy to listen to.. I listen to satellite radio alot and it was easy to program.

This receiver has great sound and plenty of power. Love the features. Looking to add a center speaker to our front and surround sound speakers.

First off, I'm replacing a pioneer 5.1 receiver w/ this denon 7.2 ch. Unit. I considered another pioneer unit, even purchased an open box unit from the magnolia section. Once I got it home, I couldn't get sound from the receiver to the subwoofer. I took it back and went over to the magnolia section again to listen to all receivers that I was interested in. This entry level denon was far more clear in the vocals than even the marantz that I considered. I took it home, got it hooked up and it sounds great! All in all, I am very pleased with this purchase.

Just replaced an older Denon that didn’t support HDMI. Excellent sound and I like the HEOS and FM features along with my universal remote.

I'm getting good quality sound from the receiver even though I'm only in stereo. One of my reasons to buy this product was looking for a better front display given I'm partially sighted. The unit met my expectations on that front, too. Although I needed some Geek Squad help with installation, everything is working at or above my standards. I still have operational stuff to figure out, but I'm very happy with the receiver.

This is a great receiver for the audio-phile that needs to handle any number of other devices and wants great sound but who doesn’t want a whole bunch of switches and dials on the front that’s makes it so you don’t know how to turn it on! Denon has made it so pretty much anyone with a basic knowledge of electronics to handle the on and off functions of the receiver and other devices. It also manages to produce excellent sound all at a reasonable price!

We are very happy with the Denon AVR-X1600H. We were wanting to be able to use some outdoor patio speakers(Polk Atrium 55) and some indoor speakers that the previous homeowner had installed. This unit is working very well for us and allows us to play music outside separate from what is going on inside. We are very happy that we did not have to spend a fortune to get this functionality and sound quality.

I had to change two receivers until Igot this one. The Quality is great, easy to use. highly Recommended.

This is a very good entry level receiver from a reputable manufacturer. Plenty of HDMI inputs for today’s digital equipment and also a couple of analog inputs for older equipment or fir zone 2 audio sources. GUI is very easy to navigate even if you choose not to use the built in wizard. Plenty of power for most speakers and rooms and perfect fir a 5.1 surround system and can also power a second rooms stereo speakers.

It was out of the box, price went down from $800.00 to $ 350.00 . Great working condition.
