Customers are saying

Customers highly value the AVR-X2700H's sound quality, ease of use, and straightforward setup process. Many appreciate its powerful performance and consider the price reasonable for the features offered. While some users experienced HDMI connectivity challenges, the positive feedback on the sound and user-friendliness outweighs these concerns. The HEOS app and 8K compatibility are also frequently praised.

This AVR has finally allowed me to use my PS5 with 120hz 4k. The options for sound are fantastic, waking up my definitive technology 5.2 surround system. I had a Yamaha prior and it had so many issues with HDMI handshakes. This beauty fixed it all. Highly recommend!!

I’ve been a Pioneer Elite fan for a very long tim, since pioneer elites are made by onkyo, I switched to demon. The receiver has great features and setup was nice, but if you start cranking out music the receiver goes into thermal protection and shut off, unit runs very hot. Since it is past the return policy, I’m stuck with a unit that I can’t play my music loud.

I've always had Denon receivers (well there was a Yamaha in there at one point) and this 2700 checks all the boxes that I needed at a reasonable price. Denon and Marantz are also now the same company. Two of the best names in receivers have now merged :) Routing my RoKu 2022 Ultra streaming box and Panny 820 DVD player through the Denon to my LG-G2 "77 OLED works perfectly. Audio and Video route smoothly via E-ARC. There are no lip-sync delay issues or any other problems. There's more than enough power to run my 5.2 system efficiently via my Martin Logan and B&W speakers.

A very nice AVR with very smooth sound and plenty of options, dose take time figure everything out, not too dificult if you understan electronics and audio, very well built. now with that said the remote app needs some work, alot of bugs. the x3700 that is 500 more was a option but unless you want to add seperate amps its not necessary for the x2700H dose a great job, now if you don't have high efficient speakers you might want the x3700 otherwise stick with the x2700 and you no be pleased.

Get this AVR if you're looking for an AVR that is good for Movies, TV, Gaming, and Music. This AVR has HDMI 2.1 which allows either 8K or 4k @ 120hz. Switching between inputs is fast. The UI is really good and helpful when setting up your speakers. This receiver also allows HDMI passthrough which allows the receiver to be off/standby but will still send the audio/video to the TV.

The Perfect receiver for my home setup. The quality is awesome and the price is very fair for the quality in its range. You owe it to yourself to splurge on a great receiver if you have great speakers.

This is a great sounding receiver! Setup is easy too. Menu is a bit slow, and changing video output is an absolute chore, and for me a deal breaker. As I use this with a projector, the video signal is finicky since the projector and tv do not share the same true resolution and the screen flickers and goes blank. This could have been solved easily by using a matrix hdmi switch built in or a much simpler way to set output signal in the remote like Yamaha does. If you don’t have multiple displays to worry about then this is a great bargain receiver!

Been using for about two weeks and overall I am pleased. This was an upgrade from a previous Denon so the setup was easy and as expected. The only minor gripe is it doesn't quite match my expectations in terms of output power. I was hoping for a little more punch but the problem may be my expectations and not the receiver.

Fabulous AV receiver. Just started to use it but it has a lot of power to my installed ceiling speakers with its 95 watts per channel in my space. Easy to program and use. Highly recommend for the price.

Excel receiver for a very good price. For years I paid too dollar for McIntosh mono blocks pre-amps while the sound is not as good as what you would expect from a brand like McIntosh for the price difference you can not go wrong with Dennon. I went from pure audiophile to this all in one dennon amp so I could take advantage of all of the modern technology offered for movies and streaming audio. My McIntosh setup for movies was over $100k this was under $1k and the movie effects are so much better music is better on the McIntosh but definitely not $99k better! I am glad I finally simplified and am very happy with dennon sound quality overall
