Happy overall but don’t have much to compare it to. Dirac would have been nice - but a great receiver for the price - despite the price hike since these launched

Very satisfied with purchase. Unit has every feature I needed and room for expansion. My system is 7.1.2 KEF speakers and two Sony Atmos. On screen setup adjust every speaker for whole room experience.

Excellent AVR. Running a 5.2.4 setup in my home theater using all Klipsch RP line speakers. More than enough power, super clean sound, very happy with this receiver.

Easily the greatest receiver ever. Fast response, amazing immersion. The 8K HDMI port is a dream. On screen display is extremely informative when setting your surround settings. Have had onkyo's my whole life, due to brand loyalty, but Denon has won me over. The audyssey setup mic is on point. Took the same speakers/sub I had with my previous receiver and completely changed them.

I’m new to home audio setups and I like how easy it was to setup this receiver and calibrate my speakers. I have my nvidia shield, 4K player, and PS5 hooked up to it. Great features and sound.

Sound so much better than my Yamaha. Newer audio design makes this a definate improvement over my 15 year old Yamaha that died. I use it as a preamp only and am able to turn off the amplifier. Interface is good, and remotes works well. Lots of features make it easy to interface with my system. I have professional loudspeakers that are driven by this and do sound for a career, and this was a huge improvement in audio quality.

it's okay, had issues setting up and calibrating surround sound, subwoofer had to be preset perfectly or would fail calibration. The auto calibration i don't think works great anyway, the fronts completely overwhelm the rest of the speakers, so i'll need to calibrate it myself. Most annoying thing, is that it takes way longer than it should to switch between HDMI's. Also, for some reason when i turn it on it defaults to my projector default screen instead of directv stream box. i have to push the guide button on the directv remote several times before it switches over to that hdmi, even though it should default to it. Just seems like the software needs work....

The Geek Squad came out to deliver and install our new Denon AVR-X3700H receiver on the day we had our first snow of the year and it was a doozy.! They couldn't get their van up our driveway so they walked in knee deep snow. Got the old equipment removed and installed the new Denon as the storm raged. Final speaker hook-ups hit a snag and they decided they had better get out before they were snowed in. Enjoying the the new Denon through three ceiling speakers and the sub-woofer. They're coming back tomorrow to finish the install. Clear and 50 degrees forecasted.

Easy to setup and excellent sound quality. The 8K HD hub is the reason we upgraded from our previous 15 year old Denon. The technology has greatly improved.

Excellent sound quality! I love the Dolby Atmos functionality, matched with the 8K and 9.2 abilities. Also, internet functionality and control is a huge plus!

This AVR Delivers! I'm currently powering a 9.2.4 config with 9 in-ceiling 6.5" Sonance speakers. I have x2 BIC America PL300 subs routed through the pre-outs. This Denon handles my Dolby Atmos setup like a champ! I purchased a LG 86in Nanocell 4k tv. The quality with which the Denon 3700H processes the content on my tv looks super crisp. I'm VERY pleased with this purchase! Just a side note: All of my in-ceiling speakers are wired with 12 gauged performance speaker wire over 18x13ft. I used 24kt gold plated banana plugs. I heard zero clipping at volume to 77. Sound was crisp and punchy. I highly recommend!

Phenomenal sound, Dolby Atmos is the way to go. My viewing has been enhanced since upgrading to this receiver.

Great sound and easy to set-up. Audio isn't my thing and after setting this up myself I will never hire an audio installer again. House was prewired so the hard part was done.

I bought the product to use with my laser projector in my “theater” room. I only have a 5.1 speaker set up so it did not stress the receiver. I was specific interested in the earc capability and it works perfect with my LG projector. Besides feeding the sound back to the receiver when streaming on the projector it also allows the projector remote to control the on/off of the receiver and volume. I am not an audiophile but I find the sound great and the calibration with the included mic was simple. I could go on but overall I am very happy.

Great receiver. Replaced an old pioneer. Sounds great for music and had pre amp outs that I needed for external amplifiers. Dolby Atmos is a definite upgrade.

Wonderful receiver. Does HDMI 2.1 4K/120FPS passthrough with the PS5 and Xbox Series X no problem, has pre outs for future upgrades. Should also note that the Audyssey XT32 room correction makes a noticeable difference to the sound quality over the Audyssey MultEQ on the Denon 750H. As in, my exact same setup with only swapping out the 750H for the X3700 made things sound more separated and a little bit more clear. Honestly I just got it for the independent sub outputs for dual subwoofer setups since it saves a little bit of a headache.

Loads better than my Pioneer Elite. Setup was easy, but i still had to tweak the sound on settings for my preference. Works great to run a 9.2.4.

Had this Denon receiver for about a month and could not be more pleased. Using the receiver in my 9.2.1 theater room with an 85 inch Sony X950H 4K TV. Delivers powerful performance in Atmos and amazing 4K Dolby Cinema picture. I had a Pioneer Elite with a projector for several years but wanted to upgrade to true 4K resolution and I have not been disappointed. Also supports IMAX Enhanced mode which looks fantastic through Disney Plus. It has support for additional height speakers but they are not powered which seems odd.

Very solid performer. Movies, video games and music sound amazing with any speakers you have connected to this AVR. Supports almost all of the premium sound formats except for auro 3d. Probably one of the best AVRs you can get for the money. I would highly recommend getting the geek squad warranty. I had audio dropouts after two months of me owning it. Called Denon and was told that I had a bad HDMI switchboard. I had to send it back to a Denon repair facility and not have the receiver for about 2 months. If I had the geek squad warranty they probably would have just replaced it. You live and learn.

Great receiver for my needs. Running 5.2.4. Really wakes up my Klipsch setup. I enjoy the Atmos the most. You will be happy
