For the price you would think this thing would set itself up. Not very intuitive in getting it to talk to my source equipment ( had to get the Gsquad on it) and dialing in the sound took multiple tries. It sounds pretty darn good through my Epos loudspeakers but the instructions really suck. I had an NAD before and this does have a more detailed sound and more dynamic surround adaptation.

Delivers beautiful sound through my 7.2 surround system. I got rid of my old receiver years ago in favor of simplifying my music listening with a Sonos wireless system. When I moved my new house was wired with the surround speakers and my Best Buy expert recommended the Denon unit. Now I can’t wait to add a turntable to enjoy my old vinyl records

The Denon AVR3700 is a reliable receiver. Easy setup. On screen display walks you through entire process. It gives an explanation as best option for your listing room. While some have had problem with Audyssey speaker calibration I had none. I understand it doesn't interface well with some speakers. I have T+A speakers and they calibrated to listening environment without any glitches. Overall. the receiver delivers.

This is the best receiver I've ever owned, and I have a bunch of them. The atmos sound is really awesome and enveloping. I love the way that you can process up to 11channels. I have an 11.1 system. I decided to pair with the emotiva BasX A3 to power my front stage

Love it! I purchased this unit to complete a 9.2 home movie theater room and to my surprise found it is capable to make an 11.2 setup in the future by adding an external amplifier! I like all the features this reciever does!

I replaced both a receiver and a $5000.00 amp with the Denon AVR-X3700. I was afraid it would not do justice to my large speakers and bass. To my surprise I am more than happy with the purchase. Video and music sound great, and it was fairly easy to set up considering I'm 75 years old.

Love the receiver. First time using AVR and this was perfect. As I get to know more about video and sound, I feel very good that I started with excellent product. Only dillema that I have is, if I should exchange it for higher tier of Denon receiver for ability tonhave more speakers in future.

I had never heard of "Denon", but after doing some checking I found that it has been highly rated. Once we had GeekSquad install the receiver, my wife and I could not be happier. For the price it is a great sound and it integrates with our TV and all of your streaming choices also!

Great sounding receiver and lots of options. I'm still learning everything about it. Only things so far that I don't like is you have to download the manual and sometimes when I switch from PS4 or bluray player to regular TV it doesn't switch the sound, but I think that just might be a setting I don't know about yet.

So far so good. Got this to replace a Pioneer Elite SC-97 which failed after 6 years. (will never buy Pioneer again). Setup was quite easy, and this model, in terms of identifyin signal is really easy to calibrate and use. Hope it lasts.

First time buying Denon. Glad I researched and bought this AV receiver that has eArc which perfectly works with my 2020 LG nano/smart 4K TV which also has eArc. Easy to setup. Recommend buying a SPL meter to enjoy the full potential of this Denon AV receiver.

Love this receiver so far. It’s way better the pioneer it’s replacing I think it would be better if I had larger speakers but I Can definitely tell a difference even with the current speakers that I’m using with which are the Bose speakers.

I purchased the Denon AVR-X3700H to replace my Marantz receiver, I understand that they are both manufactured by the same company, but I like the Denon unit better than Marantz. The set up and sound I am getting form the Denon far surpasses Marantz

My First Denon. I just upgraded from a Onkyo TX-nr686. I watched a bunch of videos about this Denon before I bought it. And it was just as easy to set up as they said. Sound is Great you just have to download the app for it so you can set you sound the way you like it.

Great Receiver. Exceeds my expectations by far and I haven’t even used all the available features on it. App control is SOLID. Definitely a Buy if you want to do Zone 2 Video which was my biggest selling point. It does get a bit warm but hasn’t ever shut down while pounding my Surround Sound.

Purchased this receiver to replace a Yamaha A780 that was being retired to a bedroom. Comparing the two, the sound from this receiver is much fuller and detailed. As a bonus, I'm able to EQ my subs independently in addition to be able to add more speakers. A huge win for me!

Wow, what a difference this receiver made. It even made my older speakers sound better. And now that I have my new speakers, what an incredible sound. A little cumbersome on the app but getting used to that part of it.
