I had this speaker in the Family Room and was so impressed I moved this to the Master BR and purchased a HEOS 3 that was on sale for the Family Room. As long as you connect the audio jack to your cell phone or tablet for initial configuration the setup is super easy.

HEOS is a great product for retofits. HEOS is easily added as long as your wifi can handle the extra band width required.

I absolutely love the HEOS system. I have these speakers exclusively for my home entertainment system. No regrets!

Great speaker that came free with my denon receiver purchase

Sound great however....no descriptions of battery operated on site and....searching for batteries found out they dont hold a charge and on recall for same. Way, way over-priced

Very poor wi-fi connectivity. Sound is very good when they work. I have an AC wi-fi modem and they can not find the signal unless within 20 feet of the wi-fi. Not good!

Very expensive for nothing special. Can not use it as surround speakers with any Denon avrx series or marantz receivers. You need to buy the Denon heos avr for $599 to use these as rear wireless at the expensive of Dolby Atmos.

The entire Heos system doesn't work very well. Even the Geek Squad could't get it to work. Expensive system that just does not deliver with only fair sound quality.

I have a Denon receiver and have been using the HEOS App with 9 wired speakers in 3 zones inside my house for the past year. I added the HEOS 1 so I could have a mobile speaker and also so I could add the battery pack and take it to the beach. So far I have had two trips outside the house with the speaker and the sound is great and battery life for the rechargeable battery is great also. All my friends use Sonus but if you have wired speakers and also want wireless I think HEOS is the way to go. The app was buggy at first but they seem to have worked out the kinks and works great with Spotify.

Bought a couple of this Denon speakers for my living room/tv room. At the beginning I was skeptical about buying this item because of the mixed reviews I read. I made the right choice! These speakers are really easy to setup - just downloaded HEOS app, connect to internet and the speakers were working. The sound is just amazing. With 2 speakers I have an incredible sound around the 1st floor. The app is very intuitive and you can group/ungroup speakers with a fingertouch. I have to confess that this product was a decision maker to buy a Denon sound bar.
