I have been using my 4K Denon Home Theater Receiver for about a month and I have been enjoying all the features that come with it. I am very happy that I made this purchase. And again thanks to the Best Buy team that helped me with the advice and installation.

Wonderful product - a few shortcomings. 1) Need signal strength meter for FM reception, 2) be able to up-convert composite/component video to HDMI, 3) separate impedance adjustments for Main Zone versus Zone 2

More importantly, the Geek Squad was persistent in getting the entire home theater system to work. It took some time because the new electronic technology makes things more difficult, but the results are definitely worth it.

I upgraded my home theater receiver to take advantage of my 4K TV. I had Geek Squad install this new receiver and recycle my old receiver. Geek Squad did a great job setting everything up. Everything works perfectly.

I bought the Denon to replace my 15 year old Onkyo which was still functioning but needed the latest technology and have not been disappointed. Great purchase.

This is a good receiver however the range for the remote control wasn’t that good. It won’t work through the wall either. The reviews had something different though.

It's a middle to high end receiver for a mid unit price. It wasn't as big and bulky as other units.

I will attempt to return this item even though I am slightly past the 15 day return deadline. Very hard to program and figure out. App isn’t very useful and the receiver comes with no instructions. Also not very powerful to feed all 7 speakers.

Constantly Loses Signal

I have had this thing hooked up to an xbox and a couple speakers which is a pretty light load for what it is. It CONSTANTLY loses signal while gaming on the hdmi out port. One of the ports eventually just didn't put signal out anymore, so I swapped to the other hdmi out port. Within weeks the other one was the same way. I brought it in to be repaired under warranty (thank god since it had been only 5 months) and it took about a month to get it back because denon sent 2 faulty parts to the local store. Eventually they just sent a whole new unit out. Now, after 2 months I am facing the same signal dropping issues again. At this price point I expect it to just work. Avoid this hunk of crud at all costs.
