As with a number of tuners that I have purchased, the network card on this one lasted less than a month and completely failed. I'm on the way in to exchange it today. I was hoping for more as I have 3 other Denon's that all seem to be working well. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Brought this because it was on sale at a great price. Got everything hook up and can't get my karaoke mic to work. Call Denon to get help. They told me that the receiver does not support Karaoke. If I knew that I would have not brought Denon. Wasted $700.

Not for music and deceptive Volume counting.

Unit will overheat with in minutes whenever over 60% and experience clipping at 65%. I am feeding the unit with FLAC off of Tidal and its powered by a server rack mounted 1300$ sine wave UPS so there definitely is no power instability. Seems like there asking too much from whatever amp they selected for this unit. Previously owned a 2700 and experienced none of these issues with that unit. Unit was only replaced because of a failed power supply..... Very disappointed in how much this struggles to do the same job as the last unit. Unit would probably work for movies and games but if your intention is to use if for music then look elsewhere.

    Complaints about this Denon

The first major problem is the video pass-through from any source, ie. Cable, Apple TV, or HD blueray reduces video quality. If you connect directly from the original source the video quality is noticeably better. The defeats the purpose of the Denon. The second major issue with the Denon that six months after installation the audio output completely stopped. Did all the reset and cable replacements as LG suggested. Nothing fixed the problem.

My video quality started to fail 4 months after purchase. I thought it was DirecTV or the cables but all my lower quality HDR TVs work fine. I have this Denon hooked in up between the ”Genie” and a brand new Sony OLED A9 TV...The TV works fine when hooked directly to the DirecTV receiver.

The quality of the receiver is so unbelievable that I am tempted to post the review. I bought this receiver to be used with my old little Bose speakers. I earlier had a Pioneer Elite and now moved to Denon. The quality of sound and the bass it produced is amazing. I never felt that way with these speakers. In fact I feel this is better than my other Denon receiver used for my media room which is priced over 2X to this.

Bought this from best buy on a sale back in December 2018. Connected my pair of klipsch towers, Klipsch center, a pair of klipsch atmos, martin logan 700 sub, and a pair of def pro monitor 800 for a 5.1.2 set up. After more than a month of use, I am very satisfied. My speakers are now fully broken in.

Product work fine until one morning would not turn on. Red light continues blinking means no receiver. Very disappointed should have stayed with Sony but was convinced by Best Buy to purchase Denon. Now I have no receiver for next month since I need to send to service center
