These phones sound pretty good. Low end tends to bottom out easily, though. Quality is pretty average - a lot of plastic. I would have expected a little more with the Denon label. All-in-all they're still a good set of phones for the price range.

I bought these as a treat to myself, to replace my $25 Ear Pollution headphones, but returned them immediately after testing out and comparing them. Quiet, bulky, don't collapse, etc. Just didn't like them, no bass, nothing but distant sound.

These headphones are pretty good for its price.
Comfort:
I have previously owned a pair of and compared to those, these are much more comfortable and looser on the head(those headphones are super tight, especially for big heads). The earcups are much bigger on these which could result in an awkward feel for smaller ears but they fit me nicely. The cord has a coil which gets in the way a little if you are listening while walking as the coiled part is heavier which makes it feel like the cord is being pulled on unless you tuck the coiled part into your jacket.
Sound:
Relative to the AKG K518LE's, these are much more bright in the treble and mid range. The bass is present, but not as much so as the AKG's... which isn't a bad thing because the bass is more tight and the notes are more discernable on these phones where as the AKG's bass just hurt my ears. The bass would sometimes surprise me as it could produce very low bass notes accurately. Sound doesn't really leak much as well so that is a plus.
I would recommend this to people who are listening from a music player.
