Great sound bar!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our previous sound system was also a Denon product. Surround sound with six speakers, a woofer and a receiver. This sound bar and wireless woofer is all you need. Great sound from this sound bar and woofer!

Fabulous sound for the price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking at a Klipsch sound bar and the associate directed me to this bar that was on clearance but said it had the same big clear sound as a Klipsch but half the price. It has not disappointed me yet!

Great sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I actually bought this sound bar based on the reviews I've read on here. This is my 1st sound bar that I've owned. I've had plenty of proper 5.1 set ups and still have one, but thats for my projector/theater room. I wanted something nice and decent for the living room and at first I was going to go with 5.1 but I didn't want to go through the trouble of running wires (hard wood floors) I was looking at the Bose cinemate 15 and solo 15. Actually head those in person. I never demoed this Denon unit, I just bought it and went to pick it up came home and set it up. It sounds great to me. I love the wireless sub and the lows that come from it. Living room is pretty large and the sub actually rumbles our couch and sofa. I have the dial 2 clicks past the half mark. The 3D movie mode does a good job. I don't hear sounds behind me like a true rear channel unit, but more to sides of me which is darn impressive with the channels being upfront. The only thing I do not like about this unit is the power button light is kind of bright. I think it should dim down after a while. All in all, I'm very happy.

So far so good!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to de-clutter and replace my 5.1 home theater with a decent soundbar. After a week of research and reading reviews, I decided to take a chance on this one. I hooked it up last night. I then updated some TV settings. Soundbar appears to be well made - heavy/sturdy, metal grille (instead of fabric) and I thought slimmer profile than most soundbar. I like the flexibility of using the soundbar with or without legs and 2 different leg heights at that. For my set up, I am using the small legs. Due to that, it blocked the remote sensor on the TV. I used the IR thing that came with this and so remote works. I prefer a wireless sub-woofer and this particular model is. It came pre-paired at the factory. I opted in placing it underneath my TV stand and I have no connection issues. I adjusted the sub-woofer sound at about 75%. I had to have HDMI ARC connection and this one have it. I have a 65" 3D TV, 3D Blu-ray, and cable box to hook up to it. HDMI cable came with this but it was a little short for what I need. HDMI connection is the way to go for best video and audio. In addition, less cables to use in the end. Pairing my iPhone via Bluetooth was easy. Music sounds great. I paired with my laptop but I have not quite figure out how to play it on the soundbar. It will be for another day. It came with a remote control but programming my TV remote was easy. My Blu-ray was actually part of my orig home theater. I got rid of all the speakers. I was not getting any sound at first from the Blu-ray. I went on Denon's website and initiated a chat. It turned out the chat was only for HEOS soundbar so option B was to call Denon. There was a 40 minute wait. After 20 minutes, I gave up and hang up. If that is an indication of what kind of customer service you will get from Denon, I am not impressed. I figured out my issue. I had to change setting on my Blu-ray. My Blu-ray sound was defaulting as the audio for the Blu-ray itself since it was part of my orig home theater. I had to change the audio setting to HDMI Arc for the soundbar/external speaker. This comes with 3 year warranty - to me this is an indication of Denon's confidence to their product. This saves me from purchasing the extended warranty. Hopefully, their customer service is not as bad as it sounds. If this last me 6 years, I would be super happy! :-) I wish there is a digital readout when you adjust the volume but it was not a deal breaker for me. I can hear the change as I make volume adjustment. If you are standing near the soundbar, you will however see the lights come on on the 8 buttons on the soundbar. Supposedly, max 8 in volume. My house have an open floor plan for the kitchen, dining, and living room. Between these 3 rooms, it is about 1200 sq ft. I tried regular TV show, Warcraft movie and Amazon Prime music and used the 3 programmed sound choices (talk, music, and movies) I only got the volume up to 4. I probably would not need to go any higher. My walls were vibrating and my dogs were hiding under the bed the whole time! Ha-ha! I can't wait to try it with Sunday football. Prior to this purchase, I was considering Bose and Sonos for $700 but you have to buy the sub-woofer separately for another $700. That would just too much in my opinion. Soundbar with wireless sub-woofer and for half the price of a Bose or Sonos, this is a great buy! The sound is very good and the base is plenty!

Great purchase easy to mount
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Never heard of the Denon brand before this. Apparently it's been around for a while as a high end brand and It "shows" with this. The wireless sub is great and there's a lot of settings for any size living room. Not to mention the bluetooth. It puts any stereo I've heard to shame. This thing is loud.

GREAT SOUND!!! BUT...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product, great sound. I own 3 soundbars and this one is my favorite!!!! BUT one issue I had was that after a few months the sub would not connect to the bar no matter what I tried.

Great sound , easy set-up.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Denon Sound bar and sub-woofer were very easy to set-up I was also impressed with the ease of being able to program other remotes to control the sound. Bluetooth connection from IPHONE, IPAD or another PC is great so that you can listen without turning TV on - very convenient. The only concern is that there does not appear to be any addition speakers made to expand the system; still great sound for the price!

Blew Me Away
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went from a full 5.1 fairly high end surround sound system to this soundbar and will never look back. Maybe it is because it takes up less room, and maybe it is because i have 3 kids and don't really need it, but i truly believe that the sound that comes out of this soundbar is AMAZING, and while maybe not full 5.1, it sounds great. I could not recommend this enough. the simulated surround sound is fantastic, and the crispness of the entire package is great. everything is clear and on pitch. i would highly recommend this to anyone looking to get a soundbar.

Good sound bar
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We like this sound bar. We got it because we didn't want to get a receiver and speakers for the small space our new flat screen TV was placed. The only issue is that it occasionally stops working and we have to resync it with our TV by pushing a button on the control. Otherwise, it has good sound output and is a good size to fit under our mounted 65" TV on the mantle over the fireplace. The wireless subwoofer works well, is small and not intrusive. We'll talk to our AV guy to see how we can resolve the one issue. The owner's manual was of limited usefulness.

Powerful Soundbar
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was able to get this Soundbar at 50% off the $600 price tag on a flash sale but it would be well worth the full price. Very easy install, the sub is wireless and the sound is powerful. I highly recommend this Soundbar.

Surprisingly good sound from a soundbar
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've never had a soundbar and always had full blown surround sound stereos and speakers but decided to try something new when installing a ceiling mounted projector and not wanting to run speaker wire. At this stage in technology with everything being wireless including streaming movies/TV I decided that it would probably be easier to wirelessly connect my sound system as well. I opted for a Denon soundbar and wireless subwoofer combination after having great experience with their surround sound stereo receivers. So far I have been pleasantly surprised by the deep bass sound that comes out of both the soundbar and the wireless subwoofer. It was fairly easy to set up and connect to all my devices including my cell phone, laptop, streaming media sticks, etc. It has Bluetooth capabilities as well as an audio input for direct connection. The subwoofer has a volume knob in the rear that is convenient for turning just the bass down. The remote is easy and convenient. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the market for a soundbar/subwoofer combination but may suggest looking to upgrade to a full surround sound with wireless rear speakers.

Awesome round sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Did not think we needed it when we bought it, but the tv was being moved from the floor to onto of the fireplace. The geek squad guy said he needed it to get the full effect in the room. boy was he right. The sound is bright, bold and loud. I would recommend this item to everyone that has a room for it's great sound.

Excellent product, I would buy it again
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have a Vizio TV and purchased a Vizio soundbar/subwoofer combo prior to this and it had nothing but problems. This one communicates much better with my TV. Occasionally I do have to turn the TV off and on to get them to sync but by and large it works great on its own. The sound is excellent, but as some have said maybe missing a bit in the midrange.

Good sound quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Added this sound bar to my Sony 4K TV to improve the sound quality and volume. Wireless sub makes it easy to place anywhere in the room. Would be nice to have a display showing the current sound mode instead of having to decode the lighting of the control switches.

Great sound and loud in a compact size!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great sound bar that matches up really well with my new Sharp 90" LED TV and is small enough to sit on the mantle below the TV without taking up the whole thing or having to be attached to the TV or wall. Very loud when you need it to be, and great sound as well. Blew me away in the store when I demoed it, and even better now that it is in the home and working on a daily basis.

Great sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a sound bar with decent sound because my flatscreen tv sound was horrible so I purchased this and wow, sound is awesome and set up was so easy. Also hooks up to Bluetooth so I can play music from my phone on this sound bar. Couldn’t be more happier with a sound bar.
