I was completely blown away with this Soundbar! Clear sound with perfect amount of bass. The Bluetooth has great range and any type of music sounds amazing! I was originally looking at Bowers and Wilkins Zeppelin when I came across this bad boy. Now I'm able to have high quality sound for movies and music!! I highly recommend this product to anyone searching for a Soundbar under $1,000.

I purchased this sound bar to compliment the 55' Sony 4K TV I have in my bedroom. It is set up in a 14x24 room and fills the room with sound when playing music via Bluetooth or when watching a movie. The simulated surround is much better than expected and the volume levels this unit produces are quite surprising. It has a very high level of clarity and even when played at maximum level it remains very clear. The wireless sub produces great bass to compliment whatever you are listening to and has an adjustment knob right on the back for quick adjustment while walking about. I would highly recommend this unit.

Recently replaced an old Bose 321 system with this sound bar. I am very pleased with the quality and sound from this unit. The hook up was very easy and being able to play music through the Bluetooth is an added bonus.I would recommend looking at this if you need an updated sound for your tv and music.

    Best Performer in Store

I decided I got tired of looking at my old 5.1 system and decided to go look at soundbars at the store. After the rep showed me pretty much everyone in the store, it came down to the Sony HTCT770, Denon, and Sonos in that order of price. The Sony is a solid unit, wasn't as crisp as the Denon. The Sonos with the amp was very impressive, but was also $1300 so I wasn't going that route, and the Sonos soundbar alone had that "Bose I'm trying to hard to process this to make it sound fuller" thing going on and was still $100 more than the Denon with the subwoofer. So after going back and forth I had the rep crank the Denon full blast in the store with both a movie and my phone playing music, so that's what came home with me. Even the rep, who had never showed the Denon before and initially was trying to get me to buy the Sonos kept saying "I can't get over how impressive that Denon sounds". I dinged it for value for price for no reason other than I wish it were cheaper because I liked it so much it made me spend more than I thought I would haha.

I was looking for a replacement for a Klipsch Home Theatre System. After reading several reviews and researching, I chose the Denon. My wife and I have been very happy with the overall performance of the sound bar. It's very easy to set up. The Bluetooth works well with the IPhone. Overall, very satisfied with the product.

Great Quality Sound For Your Money

After spending about 2 hours testing every sound bar in the store this one by far outperformed. And once I got it home is when I really realized that I had made an excellent choice. Great sound, blue tooth, and easy connectivity makes this Denon the best sound bar in existence. Don't waste your money on those $1000 sound bars because this Denon sounds better than any I have listened to.

I am still trying to figure out what Denon was thinking with this user interface???? Counter intuitive, confusing, limited and erratic at times. You better keep your cell phone handy at all times, and teach everyone in the house how to use the interface. There are times that you cannot just turn on the TV on and watch it without launching the app and re-selecting the input. The only reason I will recommend the product is the sound, and the hope that Denon will come to their senses and completely scrap this interface and start over from scratch with a new app. Please Denon Please! I should have believed the CNET review.

Jumped on this soundbar for $299. Took a while to set up. Have a new Samsung tv 55" and am suppose to insert hdmi cable to arc hdmi on tv. Gave me alot of problems because I would switch viewing to xbox and amazon fire stick and the soundbar would freeze and wouldn't hear anything. So after a while I took out the hdmi and used the other cable and no problems. Base has a great rumble. Love it for a small living room. Great clarity.

I got this on a massive sale from Best Buy. I will NOT pay $500+ for a soundbar and sub but this was on sale and was worth the investment. Setup was a breeze, sound is awesome, and the sub woofer is fantastic, even for our high ceilinged large family room.

Had issues installing the soundbar but realize it was more the tv issue than the soundbar issue. Once it was working the soundbar filled the room nicely and clearly. Denon is a solid product, you can tell by the build quality. Sub is small but heavy, not too boomy either. My only complaint is the highs at times are a little too high, would like more mids than highs. It is worth it if you get it on sale.

I was originally looking at a Bose soundbar until I heard this one. Not only is it a third of the price, the sound quality is much better. I could not be more satisfied with my purchase.

Looking to replace my Samsung Sound Bar. Checked around and read quite a few reviews. This one kept coming back to me. Went to store to listen to it and was sold. Excellent sound quality. Slim profile and very easy setup. I set this up in a very large room 25 x 36 and the sound was great. I was a bit concerned with the room size but this unit came to play. Sounds fantastic. Much better than the Samsung. As for the price, it seems that if you want performance and high quality you just have to pay for it. I didn't think that it was really way out of line but it does seem to be a bit high for what you physically get. If you can spend the money, then this is the unit. You won't be sorry.

It was between the Denon and the HK soundbar, after extensive store testing, I decided on the Denon. The overall sound was amazing, especially in the store, Tested Iron Man 2, the last fight scene sounded incredible, a little weak at first and a bit lacking in bass, but I figured because the store was an open area and a lot of other noises going on, it had to be interfering. Took it home, and tested it out with the The Avengers...HOLY WOW! THE SOUND AND BASS ARE INCREDIBLE...This thing is def set up for enclosed areas and the sound output is just amazing. Now for things I didn't like, the amount of HDMI connections, it has just one...not a complete deal breaker, but now I have to buy a selector, the HDMI input/output connections are in awkward spot and there is no real volume indication, so you don't really know where its at. With all that being said, this soundbar still warrants a 5 star rating! The sound output is that good!
