Easy Bluetooth connection let's me play music even if it's not hooked up to my tv. And the wireless sub is awesome! The only drawback is it blocks the remote sensor on my tv.

Purchase this as deal of the day. Denon has a good reputation overall. The sound is decent, could use a little more bass. Not sure if it's worth $400, we will see how it holds up in a few years.

I bought this soundbar as an upgrade from an Energy PowerBar that didn't decode the DD+ that comes from the FireTV in a bedroom. The sound is good - great for a soundbar, but this definitely isn't a replacement for a receiver and good speakers. Sound is clear and an obvious upgrade from TV speakers and this is great for a bedroom or a living area if you don't want to go all-in with a speaker system. Just don't expect similar performance.

Have this in my bedroom and it sounds incredible. Bass is out of this world and worth every penny!!!! Would recommend to everyone if in the market for a surround sound!

Bought both the Bose 300 soundbar and the Denon to see which I liked better and its hard to go wrong with the Denon with subwoofer at $349 instead of just the bose soundbar with no sub at $699. The first Denon I bought seemed to be a lemon though. It would turn on but would not play sound about half the time and the bluetooth wouldnt work either. Returned it and got another one and its been much better. Regular TV sounds great with it. Subwoofer is very powerful and sounds really good. Only watched one movie on it and its got a powerful sound but the dialogue was very quiet. Found myself turning the volume up and down many times through the movie. Not the end of the world but it was annoying but I just found out there is a cinema mode on it for movies so maybe that would have made a difference. The sound bar got in the way of my remote turning the TV on and off but it comes with an IR blaster as well and that fixed the problem easily. My biggest con is not knowing exactly where the volume is at with it as there is no numbers to indicate level. The buttons light up to show the level but there is no level on the screen or display to show exactly where it is. I have mine hooked up with an optical cable since it only have one HDMI input. I had my directv hooked up with the denon as a passthrough but it seemed to lose some picture quality. Maybe it was just my eyes that day but the PQ seems much better when bypassing the denon and going straight to the TV. Overall I am happy with my purchase and if you can grab it on sale for $349 its a great buy.

Impressed with the sound quality at the price. It took several restarts to connect the wireless subwoofer initially, but no issues since then. Would purchase again.

Very happy with the sound quality. I was worried that hooking it up would be confusing but it was easy and the Samsung tv remote works the TV and soundbar.

It makes my tv sound fantastic. And it syncs with my bluetooth / phone for music. Love it. Has transformed the music listening and tv watching in my home.

Nice speaker and easy to install and set up. Bought it for the hdmi in and out which I need for the tv. Review would have been a 5 but sometimes the power bar doesn't come on with the tv so you need the remote to turn it on.

I have had other sound bars before. But this denon sound bar produced amazing sound. You could probably bring down the house with it. With this sound bar and my 75" TV, I will never go to the theater again.

Great sounding sound bar. Easy to hook up and operate with my Samsung TV. Not surround sound but much better than the TV speakers. Excellent dialog.

BB had this on sale the Saturday after Black Friday, I was going to go with a Samsung so it would be the same brand as TV, but the sales tech had us listen to both, this unit had much better sound

Overall good sound quality and easy set up. Would be nice if there was a better display to show which mode you are in.

WOW what a difference. After picking out the new TV, we decided that we wanted a sound bar. The Salesman had shown us the Denon , and I must say the sound is far superior than the other sound bar we were originally going to get. And it was on sale as well.

I wouldn't spend this much money again for a soundbar that sounds just okay. Maybe my expectations were too high, but it's nothing close to what I wanted or expected from $700 piece of equipment. Not sure if all soundbars work like this, but every time I switch inputs, I get the message, "Disconnecting AnyDevice." Then it has to reconnect and I have to use the remote for that input to increase the volume from zero. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but it's frustrating. My daughter has a much lower end Vizio soundbar that she bought at Sam's Club and I certainly can't hear a $500 difference in sound quality.

Easy set up with Bluetooth.. I have mine mounted under a 70" flat screen and it's amazing!! I love how with this sound bar and woofer you actually feel and have an expierence while watching tv and movies versus just hearing them. i was advised by the Best Buy agent in the magnolia section to purchase a cinnomen hdr hdmi cable for best optimal sound it was a tad pricey.. when the guys who came and mounted my tv they provided the cord neede for half the price. So I needed up returning it. But this sound bar has awesome loud full sound! Love it

This would not be my first choice as the programming, and ease of installation are over rated. The uniformly consistent connectivity issues, across multiple television platforms,LG, Sony, etc was disappointing.

I have to say I was very skeptical with going with a soundbar vs full surround sound, but with the odd shape of my living area I would have had to have wires and stands to have surround sound. This bar is an amazing addition. The sound is crystal clear and the sub has great bass and is wireless so you can put it anywhere that has a power plug. I love that! It doesn't matter whether it's a movie or Bluetooth from my phone for music. Everyone that comes over comments how awesome it is too. I would definitely buy another system from denon!

It is everything the Best Buy associate said about it. The provided optic sound cable is very short and there was no mention on the box or by the sales associate as to the length. We had to go out and buy another optic cable. It wasn't the cost but the inconvenience that I found annoying.

After testing numerous sound bars including some long time well known brand names. I found this Denon soundbar to be far better. For the prie and investment, it completely transformed my home theatre. Super easy to use and the sound quality is amazing.
