Gameplay is very similar to the first (but haven’t found a sparrow yet, sadly). Solid mechanics. The story is improved from the last, still a bit dry. But there is a lot of lore out there if your into that.

I was surprised by how well this ran on my medium-spec computer and how awesome the PC config options were (FOV settings, proper keybindings, lots of graphical options. And I love the shooting. However, the game is incredibly simple: Go here, go there, do this, collect that. It does get kind of boring after a few minutes. I would recommend playing this in Co-op with a buddy.

Never played destiny because it wasn't released on the PC but was very interested to play Destiny 2. The gameplay is great and everything I've done so far is lots of fun. The story was a little underwhelming but I can live with that knowing it's supposed to keep continuing on. Not a fan of DLC releasing this close to the actual game release. Still very happy with my purchase.

For the most part Destiny 2 is a solid, loot collecting, shooter. It runs really well on my PC with a 5 year old graphics card and makes many improvements over Destiny 1 in many regards. However, after hitting top level you'll quickly find out you need to buy expansions to continue to enjoy the game which is a real bummer for a game 6 months old. Not to mention the developers have been really mismanaging the game with having undocumented changes that favor in-game purchases and locking event gear and goodies behind paywalls. I got the game to play though the core story and missions and some multiplayer matches without the expectation to go much further beyond that and would recommend the same unless you want to shell out more money, and have a group to play with.

Destiny 2 finally got it right. The story, characters, and game play are raising the bar from the last game. Been grind through the light since the release and still loving it!

Its fun. But once you level cap its not much to do, what there is to do gets repetative. It feels exaclty like D1 in this respect. Hopefully a dlc will drop soon. While it is not Halo in any means. There are moments and maps that male you feel like Masterchief fighting back the Covenant. The voice actors in this game bring it all together.

Destiny 2 is what destiny one should have been all along. Great graphics, tight controls, and a somewhat followable story. End game needs content/work still though.

Great game, loved the visuals, plays great on my 1060. Not much of a departure from Destiny 1. Could have been great if they were willing to think outside the Destiny 1 box. Also I wish Best Buy would have emailed the code rather than ship it. Probably not their call, but it was strange to get a box with a slip of paper in it.

This game is one of the most fun things that I have played in a while. Looks beautiful on PC and runs flawlessly. Complete opposite of any Ubisoft game.

This is the best version of Destiny 2 out there. If you have a machine able to run it at 60 fps. All consoles are locked at 30. Game is great as well.

Though playing on your own may be an issue, pinnacle activities such as the raid and nightfalls that can be completed weekly for rewards are very fun and engaging activities. These can be done with randoms, but finding a group of individuals to run these items regularly with makes it that much more enjoyable.

This is the first MMO style of game, fps or otherwise, where the grind is just not an issue. There is so much to do and soooo many guns to get. Is is a lot like borderlands in that respect. The story is well thought out and the voice acting is also well done. They throw in just the right ouch of humor into it. You can't go wrong with purchasing destiny 2. I can't wait to get some alt's started...not so much for the ability to raise power level quickly with an alt, but just to see how the other characters play.

I've been having a good time so far. Guns are fun, the powers are fun, game looks good. I might have rated higher, but bungie is the least creative with monsters names. I don't think they really try. Let's call this big robot a goblin, why not. The writing is also a little cheesy.

PC is they way this game was meant to be played! Controls are tight and the visuals are pretty amazing. FYI, the physical copy comes with a paper disk with a download code.

As many people may have already stated, Destiny 2 is really more like Destiny 1.5 The great thing is that Destiny 2 is on PC, which feels more natural due to it being a 1st person shooter. Smooth game play and constant frame rates keep the action moving along.

I went into the game having played Destiny1, I quit playing probably 3 months later and then the taken king was a pretty strong entry that really got me back into the game. Destiny 2 picks up where Taken King left off with some great additions, especially for PC, (in-game type chat, unlimited cap/res, plus really smooth gunplay.) Bungie is a company that is always evolving the game and listens to the community, so I can't wait to see what else they add with each update!

Destiny 2 delivers on the story everything Destiny 1 barely touched. It's a little short and you quickly find yourself "at the grind", but that's nothing new. If you've played the first game, it's great to pick this up and be right back at it!

This game is a lot of fun! I would definitely recommend having friends to play with as the game can get a little monotonous while on your own. But otherwise it is a pretty game, the controls feel nice, and so far has been very enjoyable.

Destiny 1 didn't start out to well, just like destiny 2. I'm hoping this game will continue to grow through QoL adjustments but as of right now, it isn't bad till you hit end game and achieve 305 light level. Then you have nothing to do.

Destiny 2 on PC is all the great destiny content you've come to love with even better optimization. It runs great on PC! Would be a 5/5 if it brought back all the features from Destiny 1 but it seems some it will be added later at least.
