I've seen other reviews on this game, and it was stated multiple times that Destiny Connect is a more entry level, "Disney" type of RPG. I've been playing RPGs since the first Final Fantasy on NES, and every once in a while I like to check out easier and shorter games to play; mainly because I don't have as much time anymore to play 50+ hour RPGs. I state all that because I agree this is an entry-level RPG, and the artwork/design gives off a Disney vibe. I was hoping for a good story with time travel wrapped in (i.e., maybe something that would scratch my Chrono Trigger itch). Unfortunately, Destiny Connect didn't do it for me. Pros: 1) Character and enemy design 2) Music 3) Leveling system for skills Neutral: 1) Story (Mediocre in my opinion) 2) Length (Took me about 15 hours to beat the game and max out my characters. I was fine with the short length, but others may not be.) 3) Not a difficult game (I'm not marking this as a con because the game is geared toward a younger, less experienced (with RPGs) audience.) Cons: 1) Very text heavy game. Character conversations go back and forth too much. I felt like I spent half the game in conversation screens. If the story was compelling and the conversations didn't drag on, then I would have enjoyed it more. Not a plus for a game aimed at a younger audience. No voice work throughout the entire game. That should be included for the asking price of this game. 2) Price. Not worth full MSRP, and should have been $40 to start. I can't recommend it unless it goes on sale, say half price.
