My son is a regular with the Assassins Creed games and has shown little interest in branching out with other games. He became interested in this game after reading a review, and I was informed, in the store, that it might be a great present. This game has fulfillled these expectations.

Great game really enjoy it, looks great on PS4. Great story mode and the online play is top notch but i'm worried about content to keep the game interesting. That being said I don't regret buying Destiny one bit,

This game grows on you. Gameplay is like a Halo-COD hybrid Rpg. At first, the game may feel repetitive just killing things and getting terrible loot. The loot system is literally based on randomness; a level 2 monster has the same rate to drop engrams (turned in for random gear) as a boss. Once you get to level 20, the game changes for the better. Good loot is a little easier to acquire by doing strikes and playing pvp. However, the story stays so esoteric throughout the game that you have no idea what's going on unless you look it up for other people's interpretations. It's definitely not a bad game, but it fails to live up to the hype.

Love destiny thoroughly enjoy the game it still needs some tweaks to get to 5 star. Like group finding system for higher level content. Alot of people are not enjoying the loot system for high level but I have found it highly rewarding. Because I just enjoy playing the game.

Destiny is a fantastic looking and playing first person shooter. It's too bad they forgot to include a meaningful story or more than a couple mission types. PvP multiplayer is fun as long as the servers are working.

If you can look past the story and read through the grimoir cards and weapon and armor descriptions, you will find a world filled with rich lore at every corner in ever chest and a game with great gameplay and interesting sequences where you group with strangers fighting for the same cause assisting you in public events. The game isn't perfect but its a great buy if you have friends or are willing to make friends on it. The game doesn't have voice chat systems like other games as it blocks people from communicating with you unless you invite them in your squad. This helps in some ways but ultimately hurts it.

I love the story and the creative aspect to how characters develop. I think there is many ways to keep playing without getting bored. With the networking ability(Sony Plus membership required- wish that was clearer before I bought game) you can have tonz of phun with various characters you create... kewl!

great game with possibilities. This game has great depth of story and characters that you want to explore. Great shooter with good mechanics and response. game has growth since Bungie will continue to enhance and add to the base game. i am enjoying this game.

Great game all around. At first I was a little skeptical about the game and thought the game play was a bit slow compared to COD AW. But then again, I believe any game is slow without the exo suits. The game is greatly made and awesome, honestly nothing beats having your character go to unique paths.

I think this game is too much like Halo. I like that it has borderlands qualities and a tier level, however, it gets dull. The graphics are excellent and playing with friends is fun. I wouldn't pay full price for it. I got mine during a 4 hour sale for $25.

There's no doubt that Bungie's latest game is a blast. The gameplay mechanics are solid, the shooting feels great, and the different classes are unique while staying relatively equal in power. The story is weak at best, but this was always a game about combining single player, co-op, and competitive multiplayer into the same world. On that front, Destiny is a massive success. It's tons of fun, but it just can't live up to the hype. It'll keep you coming back, at least for a while, but it falls short of being the massive, must-have game that Bungie and Activision desperately want it to be.

the overall game experience is great. its fun and challenging if you're playing solo. super fun if you got friends in co-op. some parts are intense to play. but sometimes can get a little repetitive which is why i gave it 4 out of 5. i recommend this game!

has a lot of action but is too long on story plots nad has unchangeable video between missions i did not like the jump packs takes away the risk in the game all over a good game lots of eye candy

If the game wasn't hyped so much, I'm sure it would have had better reviews. It literally has no story, but the gameplay is addicting and fun. If you like shooters AND mmo's, you'll enjoy this game.

This game is amazing, from the sights to the sounds. Choose from multiplayer (crucible), missions for the adventure, coop missions! Fun to customize and upgrade your characters (warlock, hunter, titan). The story is amusing, and the expansion packs and limited time events make it fun as well!

If you have a friends list, like shooters or sci-fi, and a pulse, this is a great game. If you only like to play by yourself on story focused games, you should play The Last of Us instead (although the multiplayer is really good there too). What's great about Destiny is the connected hub/spoke world and jumping in with friends and strangers to take on missions. The story is forgettable, but not bad, just unremarkable. The reason to keep playing is to hang out with friends, try new gear, or just have fun exploring the world. If that sounds good to you, you'll have a great time.

This is a great game! It's like Halo, but you get to experience it on PS4 as well as Xbox. There's a bit of a learning curve, especially if you aren't used to FPS games. Now that Destiny 2 is out, this game is a steal at $15.

In my opinion Destiny is a great game, with a good story. What makes it great fun for me are the numerous weapons, armors, ships, and class upgrades. I love building a better and constantly improving character throughout the story I'm playing and Destiny has done that with detailed precision.

My little cousin (great kid). came to spend some time with us and we had a blast playing destiny, he was super bummed he wouldn't be able to continue the fight at home. Saw it for cheap used at Best buy and snagged it up. Smiles all around!
