I got Destiny when it first came out. It wasnt bad but just couldnt totally grasp how the game works. Im not an RPG player of any kind so this style was totally new to me. Still not understanding the constant need to replay the same levels over and over again but that seems to be the standard in RPGs. Anyway, I grew bored and gave up on the game. Saw this version with the Taken King and every add on for it and got it for a good price so I gave it another shot. Im more into it than I was but I am still confused about how to really play the game. I blame that mainly on my lack of RPG knowledge but it is more fun than it was before. I probably wouldnt pay full price for it but since I got it with a GCU unlocked discount, sale price, and traded in my original Destiny disk, it was worth the $28 or so bucks I ended up paying for it!

Great add-on to the first Destiny. A lot of different ways to earn hear, Bungie really took the feedback of year 1 players to heart. Great Franchise so far.

Its a first person shooter MMO which in and of itself is fairly unique. The game is fun, great story and its pretty great with connecting to the multiplayer aspect, the PVP and the raids are fun as well.

Played the game on Xbox 360, when I started it on the PS4 I fell more in love with it, seeing more exclusive content. I also love the graphics of this game, it makes the worlds more realistic making me want to visit these planets.

This is the game that destiny should have been when it first launched the leveling system is more straightforward and the story surrounding the taken King is well put together and cohesive and the gameplay is as excellent as ever

This is a fun game to play with friends online. It's also playable by yourself, but I would prefer with some friends. It does get a bit repetitive at times, but they are always releasing new content.

First time getting into Destiny with the Taken King set and I am absolutely happy with my purchase. I didn't buy into the hype with the vanilla version of Destiny and avoided the game. However, after doing some research with this new set, I can safely say I can see why this game is so popular with gamers. The graphics are gorgeous. The gameplay is fun, even for a solo gamer like myself. I also love the music in this game too. I recommend this game if you love sci-fi, MMORPGs, FPS game, or just need a new game to play. You won't be disappointed.

Destiny The Taken King improves upon much of of what Destiny year 1 lacked or failed on. The story though somewhat short is vastly more interesting and more fleshed out. The loot system is much better as it actually feels like you are progressing the whole time through, and the infusion mechanic allows you to buff up a legendary/exotic items by combining it with an item with more defense. The light system is easier to get a grip on as it is now non-dependent on the light stat but on your defensive and offensive equipment.. Overall if you have base destiny or want to try it for the first time i recommend the legendary edition as it nabs you all the dlc's cheaper than buying them separate. I give Destiny TTK 4.5/5 "See You Starside Guardian"

Destiny has always been a hard game to love. The repetitive and grinding nature of the game is a hard sell when the narrative is lacking. The story is more improved this time and the game is most importantly: Fun!

I really enjoy this game. There's enough PvE that I keep coming back to play it. I've only done PvP a bit because I still get owned. But a solid story, love the voice actors, and I'll keep playing this game

Let me start by saying that I love the actual game of Destiny. The expansion pack - The Taken King, really adds a lot to the game. The changes to the leveling system, drops, and story are all welcome changes. The game is a lot of fun and I still play it almost on a daily basis. The Destiny The Taken King Limited package itself is not that good. For the people that own the game, you either have to buy it digitally for $40 or this version for $50 to $60 depending on the week. The package is the base game of Destiny + a code for the Taken King and all other DLC. If you already own Destiny, you may want to avoid this. If you are new to the series, then this is a great package to get you started.

The added content is fabulous and if you didn't purchase the earlier released extra content it is included. The game play is been tweaked and I like where the game is headed.

All the extra dlc makes this an excellent value for a fun shooter. There isn't much story or anything you haven't done before, but it's a really enjoyable game, esspecially with a friend or two

So far so good. I am actually trying to talk a few friends into buying this with me since I have heard end game is more fun with a group since you will need to farm for gear. I have not tried pvp yet, I hear it is good but potentially needs a rebalance (the things I have heard about this need for a rebalance are not accurate in the story mode for me yet as the OP character does not appear to be OP...but apparently pvp is an entirely diff story). Scenery is great, story is good so far. Random side missions/events take you away from just grinding thru quests, which is nice...plus better loot which is always a win.

This game has a lot of content! It winds up becoming redundant yet very addictive to play online and has to be one of the best online games to play with friends

With "Destiny: The Taken King Legendary Edition," you are getting the original game, two additional DLC quests, and the full The Taken King expansion. The graphics are top notch, the action and RPG elements are fun, and nothing beats playing with a group of friends. My only gripe is that for owners of the original game, you now have TWO copies of Destiny. Had I known beforehand, I would've waited for this release and skipped the original. Other than that, this is a great game at a great value. Bungie also offers frequent updated online content, so you'll be playing this one for awhile!

The graphics are amazing standard shots look like their in 3D. 10 year olds can play it with success a little violent for my taste but not as bad as other first person shooters.

about time we got some story that made sense for the game, gameplay was already solid but the story was bland, this fixes almost all the gripes i have with the game, almost

I haven't played a Bungie game since Halo 2 but this reminds me a lot of that except they've really stepped their game up since then.The loot system isn't quite as fun as say Borderlands but it gets the job done. Gunplay feels very smooth and both PvE and PvP modes are fun. Most all the game is just beautiful. All of the planets look unique and have their own atmosphere about them. Also, there's a lot of content for the price point as you get everything Destiny up until (and including) The Taken King expansion in this package. I'd definitely recommend it.

This version of the game is great for people who are just starting in destiny or for those who had the game but did not buy the expansions. I got mine for a little cheaper by trading in my old copy of the game and using my best buy card for the gamer club discount. Even at regular price, for someone just getting the game, the legendary edition is still a good deal. All together the expansions add a lot of new and interesting stuff to do in game, and one of your characters is automatically leveled up to level 25 if you want with this version of the game.
