I have played all of the previous titles on various consoles.but by far DEVIL MAY CRY 4 on the 360 is the best yet. Of course.the look and playability are second to none on the next generation consol. This title also has a very good storyline with strong backstories. All in all,I enjoyed this game very much.

Pretty good action game. Continues the DMC lore but there's a lot of backtracking.

Ive played the whole devil may cry series and i have to say that this one is the best. The gameplay is great the graphics are so realistic awesome sound i beat this game and you can play it on many difficults and a must buy game for gamers who like gun&sword fighting game! The only problem is that theres no saving points you would have to beat the mission in order to save. But good game

This game is easily one of the funnest games I've ever played. It's fast paced, tons of moves, great graphics, and characters that's impossible to hate. This is a pretty long game with 20 levels, different difficulties, and after a first runthrough some unlockables to test yourself out some more.
The only problem I have with this game is the repetitiveness. About halfway through, you change characters, and seem to go backwards to the beginning. This means you fight the exact same bosses, but due to it being a different character, you have different methods to beat them. I would have much preferred different bosses on the second half of the game.

This prequel has some outstanding graphics and unique gameplay in the same style as DMC 3. The story, though not very suprising, features some great cut scenes with typical over the top action sequences expected of a DMC game. Nero is an interesting new character with skills thatgrow on you as you play the game. It would be nice to have seen more dante, but you can get your fillin the alternate game modes. overall a great game.

This game is excellent if you want to take a break from all of the first-person shooters. This is the first time I have ever played Devil May Cry and it did everything but dissapoint. The graphics, gameplay, and cutscenes are all spectacular. The only thing I was dissapointed with is the fact that it can get very repetative at times and the length is anywhere from 10-12 hours of gameplay. To some this up if you enjoyed Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 for the PS2 then this is a game you will definitely want to give a try.

Hack and slash games are amazing. And the Devil May Cry series brings the best when it comes down to fighting through tons of monsters.
I will be completely honest, I have only played the first DMC for a few hours... So I am a bit lost on the story. EVEN SO, this game is ready for anyone to pick up. Tutorials are your friend!
So far I have played an hour or so of Devil May Cry 4. Most of it has been cinematics, but they are so well done that I have no complaints.
Im sure that long-time DMC fans will be all over this title, and they should be. But for those who are new to the series, I reccomend this title. Especially since it is on the Xbox 360 too!

I've played every single Devil May Cry and this is by far the best one yet. I've beaten it on Devil Hunter and can't wait to try it out on Son Of Sparda mode. The gameplay is great, Nero's Devil Bringer brings a new level of awesome to the series. The graphics are absolutely stunning. Not to mention the fact that Dante is a playable character. The boss battles are nothing less than EPIC! I highly recommend this game. GO OUT AND BUY IT!!

I really didn't like this game as much as I wanted to. I've always loved games like Ninja Gaiden, so I thought I would like this, but it has too many flaws.
The graphics are great and it is a lot of fun to learn the new moves and combos. The cinematics are also really cool.
Everything past that was a let-down for me, honestly. I thought that the camera angles were annoying at times, especially during the platforming sections, which I think are a mistake and ruin the game. They're very frustrating.
If you don't mind some bad platforming and a couple frustrating bosses mixed in with your awesome fighting, go for it :)

This game is beautiful, and the fighting is almost unrivaled. The difficulty is tough, though, so be prepared for a fight.

You'll enjoy this game if you like to hack and slash everything in sight. Didn't really care for its storyline but cut scenes were always worth watching. You get to learn new skills during the game but it takes forever to do it since you have to "buy" them with the point that you earn but you don't get a whole lot of points for each mission either. Like other Capcom games, you are going through the same places back and forth looking for something. That's where the game gets repetitive. Boss fights are a lot of fun but they usually end quickly because you're almost always hitting the same spot everytime to defeat a boss. Gameplay is similar to Onimusha, sometimes too similar. Replay value is not good enough. There's really not much to play this game more than once or twice because the unlockable items are a joke. You'll get other harder modes but where's the motivation to play them?

All in all I have played Devil May Cry 4 for a few hours great gameplay stunning graphics and awesome fighting action. There are two difficulties but, for best challenge Devil Hunter dificulty is the best way to go. Learning and customizing your charater's fighting techniques. Great Game +++++

Capcom has really outdone itself this time. The first 3 DMC games were tolerable but the game control and storylines were sketchy at best. DMC 4 redeems itself for DMC 3 with an easier button setup and an "automatic" feature for players who don't have time to learn dozens of button pattern schemes to perform awesome combos. The gameplay is quick paced and the graphics are fantastic. The cutscenes are beautiful too. Although I wasn't too thrilled with the storyline, I love how Capcom does do some character building techniques in storytelling surrounding Nero and Dante (the main characters). I haven't had a game grasp my attention like this since Call of Duty 4 and Mass Effect. Quite entertaining and very fast paced and action packed. The demo didn't do this game much justice. I was iffy on buying the game and whoa what a difference the actual game is from the demo. I definitely recommend this game! Totally awesome!

It is not an extremely long game, but it makes up for it in the amazing game play. The game also looks amazing. A must have for the hack and slash fan.

Loved the game a must for Devil May Cry players. This game had a great story felt like you were playing through a movie half the time. The only negative I have against it is that you backtrack through most of the game. Otherwise this a fantastic game
