I'm telling you folks out there who haven't watched this series... Dexter is by far one of Showtimes' biggest bullseyes! Even for those of you who don't have Showtime, don't miss out on this phenominal season on DVD, it seriously restored my faith in television after years of Reality TV knocked it down. x_x Oh, and if you're scared of reading the books and then watching, only to be dissapointed? Don't, as lovely a writer as Jeff Lindsay is, the books are quite bone-dry compared to the juice you get dripping from your mouth when you watch an episode of Dexter. ^_^ Totally worth the buy!

My favorite show in a long time, but it isn't for everyone. You can look on the series subject matter before ever watching a show and decide if it is something you think you could stand watching. If so then give a few shows a shot from season one, more than likely you will know if you want to keep watching all the seasons within the first 3-4 shows. In my opinion the show is well worth paying for, the way many episodes end I am not sure I would be able to last watching it like a normal season on Showtime having to wait a week to see what comes next. With so many shows that I used to enjoy becoming boring and uninspired (I'm looking at you House) this show continues to offer me something each season being better than the last.

CREATING A SERIES ABOUT A SYMPATHETIC SERIAL KILLER WAS A STRETCH. SOMEHOW THE PRODUCERS, WRITERS AND ESPECIALLY THE ACTORS HAVE DONE THIS. RARE IT IS TO ROOT FOR THE BAD GUY OR VILLAIN , BUT NO PROBLEM HERE. MICHAEL C. HALL BRINGS DEXTER ALIVE WHILE OFFING EVEN WORSE BAD PEOPLE. GREAT FUN , ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.

Dexter had been recommended by my sister and several friends. I decided to buy the first two seasons. I placed the order online, and had the DVD's within three days! They came super fast. And everyone was right, I loved the show!

Dexter is a very great series.. I got this to start watching with my girlfriend on our spare time together.. and she is hooked on it already.. I just can't wait to keep going through it and getting all the series...

Good show, worth a watch. I was reluctant to watch this show after hearing it's plot but I have to say it's a great story and the evolution of Dexter is worth watching from beginning to end.

Dexter so far has been great. Its left me on the edge of my seat. The end of season 4 was really crazy. Not what I was expecting, butvery good show. I'm on season 5 right now.

Dexter season one was good. I have seen the show before but the DVD was cheap on black Friday so I purchased it. I would recommend the 1st season of dexter.

Dexter is great. Plots are great, suspense is awesome. Characters develop nicely. Conflict creation is well done and mixes will with the story line. Recommended

I am totally addicted to this show! Saved so much time going through the disc instead of waiting for it to come on TV. Plus I already missed it on TV.

If you want to watch a great show buy this.Once you start watching you cant stop.I am going to get the rest of the series very soon.Enjoy

The picture and quality of the film is the best. CLear picture. Totally what I expect to see in a blue ray disk.
