For the sale price of $20 definitely a great buy. I do not recommend spending $40 when it is not on sale. New level cap, new zone, new class a lot of fun.

"Reaper of Souls" basically turns Diablo 3 into an entirely new game! New enemies, crazy loot, insane challenges, and the addition of the Crusader class all work to put Diablo 3 on top of the gaming heap! I would have liked to have seen some more of that glorious animation between sections of the game, but that's a small quibble for an otherwise excellent game.

Blizzard doesn't disappoint with this expansion to diablo 3. Act 5 is fun, adds to the story and is very satisfying. WIth a new class and people to met you will have a great time trying to defeat the angel of death.

The best part of adding this expansion are the new class to play as well as the season mode to take part in. Season mode keeps the game fresh in a way that the vanilla Diablo 3 cannot. Being able to create a fresh character at the same time as everyone else and racing toward a ladder position is immense fun and worth the expansion alone. The Crusader class was immediately my favorite from the first time I laid hands on a demo at Blizzcon years ago. Very fun heavy hitting class with easy to understand healing mechanics. Easy to play, more difficult to master.

I was pretty hesitant to get the Reaper of Souls expansion after being so disappointed with Diablo 3, but Blizzard did a great job of fixing all the things that disappointed me. The new Crusader class is solid, and all of the old classes get very useful (and powerful) new abilities. The Loot 2.0 patch is amazing. You actually get drops you can use, instead of stupid items like Str/Int drops left and right for a Demon Hunter. I feel like it's more like old D2, when you would just do dungeon runs to see if you got a new item drop that really improves on your current gear. One thing that is a real stand out to me is the music. In most games, music is so boring or annoying I either don't even notice it, or I turn it off completely, but the music you hear when you go through the storyline in Act V is awesome. Be aware that when you play solo, pretty much every drop you get is account bound--you can trade it between your own characters but not to other players. If you are in a multiplayer game, you have 2 hours during which you can trade items to players who were in the game when something dropped.

I have been playing this for years and it keeps getting better and better. Blizzard continually updates the content, so just when you start to get bored with the grinding, a new season or a new patch hits.

So, this expansion does add a lot to the game, and the Crusader is a very fun class. But I think a lot of the additions to the game should have been a free update to the base game. Still, not upset about the purchase since I waited for it to drop to $20.

I love the Crusader class. I am not a hardcore Diablo player but the new class and story is a lot of fun, even for someone who isn't a hardcore number cruncher.

This expansion pack for Diablo III has been out for a while so it's somewhat of a known entity but I'll give my two cents. Probably the best thing about Reaper of Souls is that it's in constant development. Despite having no monthly fees to play, the developer is constantly adding new areas and tweaking gameplay to be more rewarding and fun. There's a huge community of players and web sites like Diablo Fans that help beginners and veterans alike get more out of their play time. Especially at the prices it has been at lately, you can't go wrong with getting this expansion.

If your playing Diablo 3 you really need this expansion. It opens up a lot more to do with the game and some more story line. Worth every penny.

A must-have for any Diablo fan. Blizzard has done well in bringing back the saga and this expansion gives more reason to hack and slash our way through this epic universe. Highly recommended!

New character class as well as a new chapter in the story. No spoilers, but a ton of new game play features/modes/bonuses.

Diablo 3 was a fair game when it came out but had its problems finding useful items and still being fun at max level. Reaper of Souls has fixed all the issues the original game suffered from. Once the campaign is complete, adventure mode with bounties and rifts is a flexible way to play just the way you want without the constraints of a linear story line. Gameplay is smooth as always with Blizzard games, and multiplayer is a lot of fun as well. This x-pack is worth every cent.

If you like big numbers and are addicted to loot, then this game is for you.

great story, graphic's were crisp and clear. I enjoyed playing it.

I really liked the story, the graphics rocked the casbah, sound was awesome and it was extremely fun to play.

Overall this expansion adds to the current game's storyline with a different evil character. Once the storyline is beaten its back to the grinding of gear for your character. Although this is challenging depending on difficulty level you like to play on. I prefer to use risk vs. reward method so I play on torment level. The addition of rifts gives better chance at legendary loot drops but still is a grind but there are more bad gear drops than good.

If you played Diablo before you can probably agree that one play through is pretty much just like the second or the seventh. After a while you get bored of it and want something new. Reaper of souls did that for me. Brought in a whole new Act and new game play. Bounties and exploration. Bigger and better rewards. Don't get me wrong. I love Diablo 3. But I have played it so very many times and I was ready for more and this was more. Can't wait to see what is next for Diablo.

Significantly better than the base game alone. Adds a lot to do!

This game is SO ridiculously fun and good. I LOVE the expansion and the future patches they are planning. The playability is great and I've spent a silly amount of time leveling all my characters up to 70. This big features are Act V, rifts and bounties and the added new legendary drops. HOURS of fun, I definitely got my money's worth.
