This product is SO worth the price I paid. A handful of the Canon batteries and a Canon Grip cost too much. I initially tried it because I didn't have the money for the Canon accessories. I think this should be a name brand after using it for close to 8 months. It charges so nicely. It even turns green to let you know it is full. There is a button to let you know if you are running low, press it, red if its low and green if it is still okay. I plan on buying another one very soon, provided it works with the new XSi.

I have yet to use my backup batteries since I purchased this grip and made it my primary power. I can shoot a full wedding no problem. So, my advice is to get yourself one.
