    I needed another recharger for a second battery I had, and this little device came in very handy. However, it takes a little longer than an hour to get a full charge out of it but not nearly as it would take if you charged it through your camcorder.

    Works perfectly as a replacement or backup charger. I had lost my original charger and needed my camcorder battery charged for an event. It was perfect as a travel charger as there are no cords to mess with, just plug the battery in the charger and plug the charger in the wall outlet. A light will let you know when the battery is fully charged.

    The temp goes up dramatically almost to the point of burning up. A thicker outer shell with some ventilation might solve the problem.

    I think conceptually this is a fantastic product, but unfortunately the one I bought and took home didn't have the 1 adapter that would have fit my camera. I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 5 because I had no way of testing it and had to return it for a refund as my need for it was time sensitive. I ended up buying a different product from Amazon, but really wish this one had worked. It is designed to work with 4 different models of cameras, so design wise, it is a homerun. I'm sad it didn't have my adapter and that was the entire reason for my purchase.
