This product fixed one game but not the other. I think it would fix light scratches but not deeper ones.

I was able to remove enough scratches from my CD to make it usable. It does take a while to remove the scratches, but the manual version is better than the electric version. Cheaper than paying someone/service that uses a multi-disc cleaning system. I was able to clean/repair many CDs.

This is great if you have one or two discs that have minor blemishes. But if you have a bunch of discs that need to be repaired, spring for the motorized one, because turning that crank on this model can get pretty old pretty fast. It definitely works, though.

With 3 boys DVDs a4e hard to keep in good condition since they are in and out of the player in house and car. Was amazed after using it on a disc that was pretty welll scratched was able to repair and watch Cars again.

I purchased this to use on a disc that had some scratches on it, wanted to clean the disc before i sold it online. I didn't read about the product enough. Technically my disc was still working so i should not have use this product for what i was trying to do. I cant say they it would make a disc that's skipping because it's not why i used it. Seems easy to use, but if you are looking to remove a few scratches to improve the condition, this is not the product you need.

We run a side business and often resale DVD's. We have tried other products before which claimed they are disc cleaners but it's just a simple water/alcohol based solution with some bogus pads. This product was the real deal. The fibers used in this product really do remove scratches. It takes off a thin layer and leaves the integrity of the disk intact.Very pleased with the results. Good for personal home use too. "Kids leaving the DVDs out of the case" this is the solution.

Overall it's worth the money esp is your using it for video games the cost of buying a replacement game or this, I would def buy this again

I would say to buy the manual version rather than the battery model. I have had both & even though the manual one is tiring to use, at least is can't stop working after a year as did the electronic model.

I was lucky enough to get the manual skip doctor for 50% off, even though the regular price is not all that bad. It worked great for my Adobe software when my laptop decided to put multiple scratches on my brand new disc. I successfully buffed out about 70% of the scratches and the remaining ones were only cosmetic.

For the most part I liked this device. I was needed to transfer all my DVD's to my PC and a lot of them were damaged. This managed to fix 95 % of them. Only the really damaged ones wouldn't work.

I had to play around to figure out how to insert the DVD into the machine but once I did, I was shocked as to how well it repaired the DVD.

does what it needs to do for the price that I paid. My only wish is that it were not a manual tool. I used on a very damaged CD and it restored to like new condition.

Used on a DVD I was having issues with. It did seem to remove a bunch of scratches, but didn't resolve the issue.

Bought this because I was spending $2 a pop to have disk resurfaced at the video store and I have ALOT of music I was getting ready to put in ITunes off disk. this product has saved EVERY disk so far!

Reasonably priced. I plan to go through entire collection of dvd's and cd's to fix skips and scratches.

I tried this product on two of my Wii games. It fixed one of them but not the other. I didn't think it was going to fix any of them so I'm impressed and think this product is worth purchasing.

It takes out the scratches from DVD's & CD's you have to crank it , it has to go around twice the DVD , NO BLU-RAY for that you need to buy a different model

Initially this cleans both CD's and DVD's quite well. It is priced fairly. And in time we will see how durable this clear is. Readily available at Best Buy.

Very happy with this product. Got is on sale, which was even better! Fixed my 3year old dvd's that I thought I would have to throw out.

This disc repair system actually works and is well worth the money. My son was pleased with it after fixing his xbox 360 game.
