I read the reviews to find out if this would be suitable for my V8. Feedback was mixed but when it went on sale I decided to give it a try. Shortly after delivery one of my car's battery was completely drained so I hooked this up after confirming it was fully charged. It didn't work. I went back to the bulky battery jumper I bought from Costco and (in fairness it took 3 attempts even with that one) worked. A friend who knew better told me these portable ones will only work if battery's borderline discharged, but not if it's completely drained. I guess my V8 made it impossible on top of that. I didn't return it though. I'm just going to keep in the trunk as a back up battery for my electronics or try on someone else who needs a jump (hopefully a 6 or 4 cylinder).

an excellent product for quick charging phones, etc. and by golly it DID jump start my car. EASY TO USE and BETTER than jumper cables.

Already had to use to jump a car. There was no problem jump starting a car. Small compact case to store in car. The battery clamps worked in my vehicle, but it may be to small for some battery terminals in other vehicles.

Bought one for myself and another for a gift. Small and powerful.

i use this more often as a usb battery pack charger. and it works great for that too. it also worked great when i needed it as a car battery jumper. don't have an opinion on long lasting longevity yet though.

I bought this battery charger to put in one of our cars that we are never sure will make it home. So it is good for our car battery, but it can also be used to charge your phone, ipod, ipad etc. Great product!

Haven't had to use it to jump start anything yet, but everything looks great. Very lightweight and stores in the car easily. Didn't take too long to fully charge and says it holds a charge for up to a year.

Charged 4 phones to full charge with power to spare.

It's small and easy to handle. My husband loved his birthday gift but then he used it and cannot stop telling everyone how great of a wife I am for getting this for him. It jumped off 4 car batteries.

I have bought car battery chargers in the past that could not jump off a car. However, this is one car battery charger that works. I have bought one for my car, my wife's car and my daughter's car.

Very pleased with the performance of the charger. I had to use it to jump my garden tractor and it worked great. Charged 2 cell phones at the same time and still had plenty of power left over.

The product has been reliable for what I have used it for to this point. I have not had to us it to jumpstart anything yet. I have used it to charge my phone and some other equipment. I purchased this to have for my vehicle safety kit for the winter and hope that I never have to use it but it is nice to know that I have the capability if needed.

When I compare this portable charger to others simalar ther is no comparison. I bought the cobra first and it had no case it had one charging output. This unit has 2 output usb charging stations and has a cable for charging multiple items

So far so good, have tried it on my tractor and it started and the USB charging works good. Will see how it works on full size vehicles when I have a chance. Good buy got it on sale
