This Dirt Devil Scorpion Hand Held Vacuum is very powerful and has excellent suction. Perfect for cleaning hard to reach areas like behind sofas and furniture with the enclosed hose attachment. The crevice tool is also good for cleaning sofa cushions. I like that it has a long cord and am very happy that I was able to purchase one that was not cordless. The only negative that I see right now is that I wish it had come with one extra filter. I keep cleaning the filter after every use but definitely need to keep some extras on hand. I would definitely recommend this hand held vacuum.

Very powerful and portable. The cord is nice and long, and wraps well for storage, and you don't have to worry about dwindling battery life. The filter is easy to clean. It is, however, very loud and noisy and there is a burning smell when operating. But those flaws are acceptable since I only use it for quick jobs.

Cannot say it is good or bad it depends on you. It is really powerful with excellent suction and easy to clean but it is corded which is not shown in picture reducing its portability. I am much happier with this version of the Dirt Devil with the attached cord than with the charging battery version. The suction is much better and doesn't die after 1 minute of use. It is light and portable. Cord could be longer, just use an extension.

Great suction power. The extension tool is handy. The power cord is very long with makes it more practical. Great for small spills in kitchen or removing animal fur off hardwood. Haven’t used the car cleaning extensions yet but it may be difficult to use since I dont have a garage and so no outlet.

I was surprised how strong this Vacuum is. It sucks everything. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars was because it is very loud and it has a strong smell like burning.

I have been searching and wanting a portable handheld vacuum for sometimes. After trying a few others brand and model, this one is a keeper! It is very powerful. It is great for small area and stairs, but a bit noisy though.

Good suction. The corded option gets you a much more powerful handheld. It works well and the cord is long enough to make if great for around the house pick ups. If you have a outlet close enough it would be great for the car, too.

When I ordered this, Dirt Devil was no longer making the same design that was being advertised. That wasn't just the case for Best Buy - it was every vendor that carried it PLUS the manufacturer too! I even spoke to Dirt Devil corporate numerous times and all reps (with the exception of one finally) had no idea the design had changed. All vendors & Dirt Devil itself advertised with a photo of the product...that is, a photo OF THE OLD DESIGN! Dirt Devil totally changed the design in every conceivable way & kept the same model #. Crazy! I needed the features of the old design & ended up having to return the product to Best Buy. I never used it so I'm giving this rating on the manufacturer's stupidity and not on the current design's quality. The current photo is the one that I received.
