Although not in the title, you can immediately tell that this is a new, and by far the best, installment of Colin McRae Rally from Codemasters. This game is one of the best rally simulations out there with real physics and damage modeling, and a great depiction of a fairly new genre of racing to the US crowds. In Game Racing: An absolute "LOL" experience, in the good way. Maneuver tight hairpins, overcome dips and jumps, and try to maintain all four wheels and two eyes on the crazy roads of all the continents while listening to your copilot's instructions. Even if you're not lucky enough to finish the race, you are bound to go out in some sort of spectacular roll or full on head collision. Menus: Perhaps the greatest I've seen in any game. Very well animated and picturesque, with a full help popup on any subject you don't understand. Detail: Aside from the well designed cars and physics engine, DiRT offers gearheads a full blown out opportunity to tune their cars spot on to their needs. Camber, caster, suspension height, gear ratios, toe in/out, you name it, you can control it. If Forza2 was a rally game, it would be no better than this. Multiplayer: Maybe the downside of the game. You get to race against other people, but rally mode i.e. you don't see anyone on the track but you're all racing it at the same time. I guess it took a bit more effort to try and process multiple vehicles on one track in multiplayer. At least it's available. Diversity: Multiple rally disciplines are in, such as Crossover, RallyCross, Hillclimb, and Raid. The assortments of different vehicles and classes will keep you well entertained. That said, I really admire this game and what Codemasters has done to make the series alive again. If you're willing to shell out another 450$, get yourself a playseat and an MS wireless wheel, and you'll have one of the best driving experiences on a console in your life.

If you are a fan of the Need for Speed games that's not what you will find on this game. The controls are very sensitive and work great. You need to be patient and play like you are driving a real car, slowing down for turns and all. Once you get used to the way this game works you will be hooked for sure. Besides that the graphics are gorgeous, you will have fun just watching your own replays. Young kids might find it a little hard to play, try the free demo on Xbox Live.

Awesome! What more is there to say about DiRT? First off, it never, ever gets old! I've this game for 6 months, and every time I pop it in, I have just as much fun as when I first got it. The physics are realistic, as are the graphics, and everything just looks really real. As an avid off-road racing fan, I must say that this game is as close to the real off-road experience as you can get, minus the dirt in your pants and the wind in your hair.

This game is awesome definitely worth buying. It's a more realistic kind of driving game which means you will have to slow down for corners and watch out for obstuctions so you don't destroy your vehicle. I would not recommend this game to a younger or novice gamer because it is a little tough.

I was hooked as soon as played the demo. It was so amazing that I started calling my friends asking them if they had played it yet. I was blown away. The graphics are lovely, the driving is sweet, and handling is perfect in my opinion. Highly Recommended.

I heard this was a cool game so i rented it it was the coolest ever the graphics are so lifelike there like ur really there the camera veiws are amazing inside,outside,faraway, and the replay are so fantastic

This game rocks. First off it's a Codemasters game so right there you should know the game is first rate. The graphics are the best out there and the handeling of the vehicals is top notch. There are so many different tracks and cars in this game it blows you away. The career mode lets you battle your way to the top tier and unlock super detailed cars and tracks. You also get the wonderboy himself Travis Pastrana helping you thru the game. If you buy one new racing game this year, make it DIRT and get it from Best Buy!!!!!motomike122

this game the cars are real, when you crash the car actually gets demolished and the graphics are unbelievable.

The only downside of this game is non-existence of multiplayer. Lets see who can get the fastest time...... Other than that every part of this game is amazing from graphics to sound to the excitement of the race. The greatest part is the helmet cam....feels like you're right in the seat. Buy this game, rent it or play the demo either way you will enjoy!

If you love racing games this is for you! I bought this game the other day after I bought the xbox 360 and I can't stop playing it because it is so fun!

its a fun game but the it takes a while to get good at it... the graphics are decent..and the crashes arent that realistic

This game is awesome. The graphics and game play are the best I have seen for racing. Forza is a great game, but if you like off road this game is second to none. I cannot stop playing when I got it. I liked it better than forza, but I love rally.
