    HIGHLY ADDICTIVE IMMERSIVE GAMECHANGER! 10/10!!

Dishonored 2 on the PS4 Pro, with a 4K display is absolute visual gratification! A shoutout to The Infamous series of PS4 games where you choose how you want to play the game and where the story will take you, along with open world and character selection it's an Inventive cross between Assissins Creed and Infamous game series accept you get to choose your character which hasn't been done accept for the latest AC installment Syndicate you can swap back and forth between a brother sister duo in the streets of London during the rise of the Industrial period. But Dishonored 2 is flat out gorgeous with an enthralling storyline involving an imaginative world and an exhiled Empress and her trusted Royal Protector (you get to play as either character) and play as you see fit... to regain your thrown and let your subjects know you're alive and fighting for their prosperity. I love games with a gripping storyline to which you set the stage with your actions. I've made comparisons to other Award Winning PS4 titles of the past but Dishonored 2 truly is a must play if you liked either of the afore mentioned series or any Action/RpG/Shooter for that matter. This game was developed with masterful imagery, story, and imagination, executed with precision. I love shooters and action/rpg games and my favorite characters to you are usually an agile warlock/mage gunslinger and that's exactly what you get. So if you love a gripping storyline, in game "free-will", magic, mystery, and the choice to execute your ever-changing quests with stealthlike precision from the shadows, putting the fear of god into your oppressors with your mags-like powers and precision weaponry letting all know who's boss and your coming for your throne! Strike Fear into your enemy from the open for all to see and fear or become a ghost and strike only when the moment is right.... I make the moment right it's more fun that way! But you can play the game both ways half in the shadows and half in the open, have your people fear you or aid you... either way you're coming for your throne in the most imaginative, enthralling gameplay in its genre just check the PSN store it's one of the very few games that critics and gamers alike have bestowed the honor of not just award winning, but a must play and fully uses PS4 Pro's enhanced gaming capabilities both embracing the full power of the Upgraded CPU and GPU processors in the Pro. So get off the beaten path littered with shooters and action games that have little to no storyline or character interaction to pull you in and get you excited to play the storyline in games anymore. Next-Gen gaming got off the path of creating immersive storylines for a while but the release of the upgraded systems is pushing developers to take their time and build a game to the consoles full capabilities and the true roots of gaming, Arcane studios got the ball rolling and finally major developers are taking their time and following in their footsteps to create beautiful immersive gameplay that you want to explore every nook and cranny of the ever changing storyline that you the player are in control of... that is what Next Gen gaming is about... using these powerful consoles to create storylines that make you come back for more not because you want to level up or grind for loot but because you actually want to see where you can go and what you can do next.. the decision is yours and if you can't tell by this massive review...Dishonored 2 blows the lid off its predecessor which was and still is (especially the remastered version included for digital download via PSN code in the Dishonored 2 Limited Edition version)... Hands down of the best games in its class and top tier for us PS4 Pro owners who get to experience this gem in all its immersive open-world, blaze your own path back to YOUR throne... use all your Arkansas powers, unique weapons and gadgets with Dishonored 2's brutally fun and extremely imaginative gameplay/combat system. 10/10 for sure! You don't win multiple BEST OF E3 awards for lackluster gameplay... simply awe inspiring!

    A Worthwhile Return to Dunwall

I really enjoyed the original Dishonored and this game follows in the footsteps of its predecessor while improving in many areas. While it keeps the same style as Dishonored, it graphically looks far superior (which it should). Controls, magic, stealth, and action are all solid. And having two different characters to play through the game with definitely adds a high amount of replay value. There are also large selection of challenging trophies to keep you occupied as well. If you like first person action adventure games, definitely give this one a go, you won't be disappointed!

A worthy follow up sequel to the original Dishonored. If you didn't like the previous game, this won't change your mind. Stealth is still the focus here though technically you don't have to play it that way. Nevertheless, the game gives you lots of power to lethally take out your enemies(high chaos), but the game rewards you more when you take them out non-lethally (low chaos). New is the ability to choose between Emily or Corvo as your playable characters. They have different set of powers, which make them play differently. Story doesn't change much aside from so dialogue. Nevertheless, the story feels more suited for Emily given her personal stakes, while Corvo feels more like a character that should have been unlockable after finishing the game with her. That said, the story isn't the greatest. It has a great start with Emily's Aunt Delilah usurping the throne and launching a coup d 'etat, which forces you to choose between Emily or Corvo to play as (the character not selected is turned into stone). Afterwards, the story just never really goes anywhere other than giving you reasons to assassinate(or non-lethally remove) some people. You can read more about the game's lore through text and newspapers within the game, but it's not really a organic way of telling the story. The game has a decent length of around 15 hours or so though with me taking a stealthy non-lethal approach.

First off, if you buy the Limited Edition you get the Definitive Edition of the first game for free which makes Dishonored 2 an absolute steal even at full price. The Definitive edition of Dishonored 1 includes all the DLC for that game in one excellent package. As for Dishonored 2, if you didn't like the first game you might not like this one either since it plays and feels a lot like the first game but with marked improvements in most areas. The story begins in largely the same way, your main character ends up being 'dishonored' in some way and so begins your quest to clear your name and set things right. Like in the first game, you can play the game stealthily or not, you can kill everyone in sight or spare every soul you come across. It is entirely up to you. The main targets can all be taken out non lethally and having two main characters with unique powers to each (you can also play without powers if you choose) adds to this game's replayability. This is a well crafted game that values player choice and I highly recommend it!

This game is truly amazing and I really love the story. This game allows you to play it how you want to and approach things differently whether that be using stealth to not get caught or to kill everyone. Coupled with the powers you can gain and the game becomes really interesting in what you can do. Its a first person view and your allowed to select between Emily or Corvo. Corvo has the same abilities from the 1st game while Emily, a new character whom you can play as, has completely different skills. Highly recommend this game for those that love stealth games.

Overall this game was good, and you will like it if you played the first one. It has similar mechanics and the story allows you to play as two different protagonist. What I really liked about the game, is the option to refuse to have powers. It challenges you to be more creative, and it makes the game more fun, in my opinion. It is rather short, and more of the same as the first one. If you can get it under $20, it is definitely worth a play through.

WOW. Dishonored 2 was even better than i thought it would be and i havent beaten it yet. The levels are huge and awesome. The fights and kills are brutal and so much fun! There different styles to play although (more stealthy approach, or more violent approach) i have a hard time being stealth i guess im not good at it haha The story so far has been so good at getting you emerged in this world.

I stumbled across Dishonored Definitive Edition this spring on sale and picked it up sight unseen. I was extremely into the game, playing through the main game and included DLC several times. Getting this sequel was a no-brainer and it meets or exceeds the original in every way! I like that grown up Emily is a playable character and the world is as immersive as ever. Definitely recommend Dishonored 2 if you liked any iteration of the first title.

Superb follow up to Dishonored (1). Endless stealth, action and exploration. Arcane takes most of the things you loved in the first one, and brings them into this one with some slightly tweaked mechanics and improvements. Fluid game play with compelling story. Recommended.

the game is more taxing than others from Bethesda. But don't get crazy - I could enjoy it with a 970. Now down to the point: this game is a labour of love from one of the very best game studio around the world. The art is breath taking, with mind blowing designs, render, and mad amount of skills pouring from every pixel. The level design is totally insane. Each level, even more than in the first game, is a show of gameplay twists build upon cool ideas and a powerful engine. Sound and music are wonderful, and the world itself is probably the best world creation at least in visual entertainment from the last decade. If you love gaming - and especially first person games - but don't play that one you'll be missing one of the most amazing creation in the field. Also the game is very generous. My first run lasted 37 hours. And I am positive I'll play it at least a second time. Then if you go for the full ghost run, you're in for even more hours of fun

I loved the first game and this one plays the same. Nice story and easy to use controls. If anything I find this game maybe a bit more challenging in some sections. Overall I'm very happy with the game.....can't wait for the 3rd installment!

The original dishonored was a out of no where hit. This is a great follow up with good story line and smooth gameplay. This game has very high replay value since what you do depends on the outcome of the story. at least 4 different endings

Few hours in the game, it's everything you love about dishonored 1 and better. The combat is great and graphics are amazing, game's very simple yet complex in a very understanding way. I love splinter cell, dishonored, anything that does stealth right. You can beat the game without killing anyone and when it comes to powers.. upgrades.. the categories have sub categories and there's so many possibilities. Its almost endless, you have lots of options in everything. No two people will have a similar game play experience because of the variety of options. It's just a great game, I dont see why anyone who enjoys sneaking by enemies, pick pocketing keys, hiding in shadow would not like this game. I'm glad how most of the story wasn't spoiled much in the trailers/gameplay videos.

Dishonored 2 improves upon the already great mechanics and story of the original Dishonored, giving players greater space to navigate and more abilities to master. If you're a fan of the original, you won't want to miss this one: one of the best video games of the generation.

A clear step up from its predecessor. Although I highly enjoyed Dishonored 1, the sequel felt richer and more thought out. Karnaca is a much more interesting locale than Dunwall and each level was meticulously crafted for any play style. The greatest improvement was the addition of Emily as a playable character. While you'll find some overlap with her father, Emily's powers are distinct and highly addictive over Corvo's. Highly recommend for any player looking for a varied play style game and if you've never played the first, the limited edition comes with a digital copy. So you have no excuses whether you should pick this up or not.

The game-play is even better than the 1st game. Story was interesting. I suggest to go stealth, I believe that is that the game was intended to be played, a little bit more challenging that way.

The first Dishonored was very good but had potential to improve, this sequel does exactly that. From its opening, to the two playable characters and each one's unique abilities; I know that my next play-through will be a much different one and for all the right reasons. There's many ways to accomplish each mission and has a great amount of replay value to make you want to experiment with other methods than before. Buy it if you enjoyed the first game.

This sequel is perfect. It doesn't suffer from any of the issues most sequels do. It's 15 years later, you play as either Corvo (from the first game) or Emily(his daughter), in a new city in a South American like setting, against a great array of enemies. Pros: Smooth gameplay, beautiful environment, awesome revenge story, and a great mix of dark magic and steam punk styles. Cons: Bloodflies.
