Dishonored is a classic adventure shooter type game. It is challenging enough to be fun without being impossible, There is a nice mix of weapons and the magic powers are not so overwhelming that you can't keep track of them. You won't get as immersed in Dishonored as you would in Fallout or Bioshock game, but you will still enjoy this game,

This is an incredible game that I would recommend to anyone who is a fan of the Stealth Genre, Bethesda Studios, and/or interesting gameplay. The freedom you have through the game's story and mechanics are a rare treat in a world where you are often limited in your execution of a given task in games. There are multiple scripted and unscripted ways to accomplish a given task and the game both encourages and allows you to explore its world as much as you want with few boundaries and the powers available to you can open up new and unexpected avenues. Even the decision on whether to assassinate a given target (or kill anyone for that matter) is up to you and the world will change in subtle and not so subtle ways in response to your actions. Despite all the in mission freedom, the overall story progression is static. Every mission begins in sequence and you are limited to act within a given area. However the freedom you have within a given area makes up for this shortcoming and with all the possible options for traversing a certain area or accomplishing a given task along with the subtle and immersive setting give this game tremendous replay value.

Overall gameplay is satisfying with unique powers that become addictive to use. Game also has high replayability.

Dishonored GOTY offers a solid gaming experience. You can play through the game without killing a single person, or you can rampage through every mission. With the inclusion of DLC content in the GOTY Edition, choices made in the main game carry through into the new gameplay. Although games of this type can become tedious with lengthy game time, Although it can be predictable at times, Dishonored GOTY offers the gamer numerous paths to choose in most situations, influencing the outcome of the main storyine.

I tried to buy something other than call of duty, son said it was ok.... but he finished the game already. I don't get the whole game thing, I know you can play live with friends, but my kids didn't like it as much as COD. My kids could also just be call of duty snobs.

Fun single player game with good content. There are many different ways you can complete a mission which allows for good replay ability.

Truly great experience the characters were epic the story was great the game is addicting. I played through the story many times and it never gets old, and I will continue to play it through.

Have not played game yet but was purchased after reading several reviews on Amazon and bestbuy and professional reviews by gaming sites and magazines. Like playing stealth type role playing games and this seems to be really close to games like Oblivion and Skyrim

I played the original game and found it to be really fun, but I was just killing everyone. Which was actually the easy way to play. This game became really challenging when you try not to kill anyone. So the second time around it's even funner because it involves more strategy on how not to kill anyone. The DLC are all on one disc which is really nice.

A so so game, one that reminded me of Bioshock Infinate, but with a different story
