Learn how to draw some of your favorite Disney characters. I don! Know why they would make you paint something black and then paint it another color. You are suppose to paint on a white back ground.

Bought this for my 11 Y/o who can't get enough of anything that is art. While the summer is here and she's not taking art classes in a structured environment, this game keeps her creative abilities flowing on the road or when bored. You really can't go wrong with an art game since it keeps the brain active in a different way than it would by watching a video game. I'm sure a different part of the brain is getting exercised and not getting pounded and manipulated like it does with the visual movements of a regular video game. I don't worry much about seizures since the game is not moving at a high speed and requires some precision and slower moving techniques on the user's behalf. I recommend this product.

Like most little girls, my daughter is a huge fan of Disney. She also likes to draw and this game allows her to learn how to draw various characters. It's easy enough for any beginner. My 10 year old son tried it and could do more of the advanced stuff, but he lost interest after awhile. I think this game would be best for ages 3-10.

Such a great game to relax to and use your imagination and increase some designing skills

Disney Art Academy is a great way to kick back and relax while honing your artistic skills. I find drawing to be very therapeutic after a stressful day and this game does a great job with its pleasing music, great interface, and low-fi gameplay. I especially like the sounds each instrument makes while drawing. I play on the 2DS and its resistive touchscreen works great for this drawing game.

I purchased this game for my 9 year old daughter. At this time she did not seem too interested in really using the tools to create the art. The game does a good job guiding the artist, but my daughter's experience would recommend you get this game for someone who really wants to learn (not just play around).

This "game" can really teach you to draw if you pay attention and follow the lessons.

My daughter saw this game online and really wanted it. She saved her money and purchased it and could not be happier, she said it is a really fun game.

I got this for a road trip with my Daughter. She couldn't put it down. This has greatly improved her drawing skills.

Art academy games are fun and educational for kids and adults.

This game is great and relaxing. This was my first Art Academy game and it did not disappoint.

Nintendo makes another great game and plays great on the 3DS.

My daughter is 6 and I thought it would be a very cool game for her as she wants to learn how to draw. It is a VERY good game but 7-8 would probably be the bottom of the age range for this. I would highly recommend it for older kids.

This is a well done art instruction. Even if you are good with art, this still has something to offer as you learn the intricasies of different Disney characters. And to comment on another reviewers comments, this game has just the right amount of violence:)
