My son loves it, but doesn't really play it all that much. It is more of an occasional thing. It is backwards compatible with older figures, but it is pretty much the exact same thing. I'm not sure what advances were made with 3.0 that weren't included in 2.0 (or that couldn't have been included in an upgrade). The portal device is the exact same thing as well. We now have two of those and only need one. So, other than the characters, there is no reason to upgrade. But ... if you have a child and he/she wants the newer characters, you'll have no choice if you want him/her to be able to play with them. It's fun, but doesn't really seem like much of an upgrade in my opinion. If you don't have any of these, I'd certainly recommend it. If you have an older one and don't play it all that much, then I'd seriously consider skipping it. This version is just all about the characters (Star Wars and Disney Inside/Out).

This will be our main Christmas gift this year. I love playing with my 5 year old daughter. We weren't sure about the Marvel 2.0, but we loved it. We weren't sure about Star Wars, but every version of Infinity has been great so far!

We love playing the Disney Infinity 2.0 and when we learned Star Wars would be on the 3.0 it was a no brainer. The figures are awesome, my kids love playing the game and I enjoy watching them (and playing while they are at school).

Great game pack for young star wars fans. Easy enough for young kids and challenging enough for older ones. Really does well in bringing out the fun of star wars battles and helps children learn about the old and new characters

So Star Wars was the huge draw to me for this. I've always looked at the infinity figures and wondered how the game was and I honestly can say I've been missing out. My girlfriend and I love the new Star Wars set and like having a game we can use when babysitting. Figures are high quality and will continue to buy more.

My son is 4 and loves to play this. He loves to be able to change out the characters at will and the game play is simple enough for him to understand. Plus you can download community content if you can't make you own toy box world

The Disney Infinity has been one of the best purchases I made for the family this Christmas. So many different characters and easy to learn and play. Having so much fun with this game Purchase. Especially having Star Wars!!!

I absolutely love this game! It's one of the best Star Wars games in years and toy box takeover lets you mash up Star Wars, Marvel, Disney and Pixar for a super fun adventure. Excellent all ages game.

Have bought my nephew every disney infinty to come out yet and this new one i would say is the best so far. Really like the star wars theme and the graphics even look better in this one. Looking forward to getting him The ultron and hulkbuster figures when they come out in november!

We were able to buy during the Christmas rush at the discounted price. A must have for Star Wars fans! My son had been waiting for this. Very easy to play and a game that you can keep playing.

We are really enjoying these new characters. It's a little annoying to have to by the updated version when we just bought a starter kit for the last one, but I guess that's the way this works.

We got a wiiu for the kids for Christmas and decided to get the infinity for them to play. They love both of them they enjoy the game play and the story as much as I enjoy watching them play.

Just I know than my is happy, this game is good keep my son entertain the thing about this type of games is than kids keep asking for more caracteres and you end it expending more money

My wife and I purchased the new 3.0 edition for my son for his birthday. He and his little brothers love the added features and new characters. A must for Star Wars fans young and old.

We had Infinity 2.0 and just had to get the new one when the Star Wars characters came out. It's easy for my kids to play. It's a bummer, though, to have to keep buying new versions to get the new characters. But, whoever thought of that is a marketing genius.

Ideal game for my son (he's 8 and a Star Wars fan). Yes, the toys can be pricey, but don't go overboard and buy them all, just start with a few and maybe add one for special occassions.

I don't know it the graphics or just a great game in general or because it was Stars Wars. But great game Action Filled from the beginning until you master every level of this game.

I gave this game to my son for christmas and he loved it. my only problem here is that you have to buy all the toys so you can complete the game and is gonna be expensive after that

When we heard that Disney was going to come out with Star Wars, we held out on buying any infinity games. I purchased this game online months ago as a pre-order. This game is a lot of fun. We cannot wait to collect the other disney infinity characters.
