Honestly I, like many who probably buy these figures, do not actually own Disney infinity the game. I bought this purely because it's Groot and it's awesome looking. He looks fantastic on a book case. Or mantle. He travels well if you're the type that likes to take pictures of toys in different locations. He's quiet and pretty much just keeps to himself.

I don't have nearly the grasp of the Infinity system that my 12-year-old does, but he was firm on two things: he needed Groot, and he needed Venom. By the fifteenth minute of his shrieking laughter, I was sold on this purchase. It has all the fun of the Lego Marvel games, but with a SkyLanders swap-out mentality. I may buy myself an Infinity, based on the hours of fun he's having.

I gave this character a 4 star out of 5 because of the compatibility. The 2.0 characters only work in the 2.0 version game of Disney infinity and not in the first Disney infinity that a lot of people probably have and enjoy playing. Even though I bought this character for the game I also got it because it can serve as a good piece on a shelf for display or even if you loved the character in the movie and you want a little something to remember it by.

I love playing Disney Infinity with my son. Its nice to find a game that isn't needlessly violent. That being said, Groot is a must have addition to the Marvel set and he is my favorite Guardian character.

We really love this disney infinity figure, very good moves, is a strong character and has some cool tricks, the only disadvantage is he can fly but you can always use some vehicles from toy box.

The Flora colossus from Planet X returns, this time to Disney Infinity with his partner Rocket Raccoon. Groot has some great move sets including some ranged root throwing punches, and has optional abilities like healing. He plays in both all three Marvel universes of Disney Infinity 2.0 as well as Disney Infinity 3.0 Battlegrounds and the Toybox in both games. Groot is a great, but not terribly fast, worthwhile addition to Disney Infinity.

The quality of these figures are great. The figures are awesome. Whether you collect figures or like playing the game I got sucked into this. Love the figures.

Another character we purchased to go with the Guardians of the Galaxy play set. Groot is fun to use and brings some unique abilities to the game.

Kids love Groot. All the characters and fun, but he is the favorite from the movie. They love baby Groot and trying to dance with him.

The toy itself is really nicely detailed. And I really like the way they developed it's powers in the Infinity game.

Great character to play with in the Disney Infinity system. Once you level him up, you'll have fun for days!

The Groot figure is really nice looking and also is a lot of fun to play as in the game.

While Disney Infinity 2.0 is not without its issues, the figures have always been top notch and Groot is no exception. Character is great, fun to play. Groot has some fun moves and can climb walls, works great in all intro starter adventures.

Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes (2.0 Edition) Groot Figure is a must have for the Guardians of the Galaxy fan. As a big fan of the movie, buying this figure was a no-brainer. I really like the style in which they made these figures. The gameplay is pretty cool too.

I was not keen on this character but turns out he's got some good moves. My kids are very happy with him. He gets played more than I thought he would.

Groot, the excellent character who said so much by saying so little is now available to team up with the other Guardians of the Galaxy figures in the Disney Infinity series. The figure designers really did a great job of keeping his tree like look while having a fun design.
