I bought this for our family to play together as we thought it was neat how it incorporates up to four players to be able to battle at one time. But after awhile it sort of gets repetitive and we found ourselves going back to other characters in the Disney toybox instead. It is fun and will be a treat for Marvel fans. The more marvel characters one has the more options one has in playing characters, otherwise the player is rather limited.

Starting with the Captain America - The First Avenger figure, he is a great addition to the game. His skill tree and moves are very different from the original Captain America with more of a focus on combos and melee combat. His ranged abilities are still good, but limited in comparison. The playset is also brings a fresh experience to Disney Infinity. It offers a short, but very well made, Story Mode that mostly serves to show you how Battlegrounds works. There's also a challenge mode that unlocks special items for Toy Box and costume changes for characters.The local co-op fighting is where the playset really shines, though. 4 player local co-op is a first for Disney Infinity and they added a clever system to allow this to work: A character select screen which shows any Marvel characters you've placed on the base during the session. You can also choose different game modes and choose custom options to tailor the game to how you want to play. You can even form teams! Overall, this playset is probably the most enjoyable of all the 3.0 playsets, but only if you have some people to sit down and play local co-op with. My only real gripe is the lack of online play, but the game is arguably more fun when together anyway.

This set is a lot of fun and you can incorporate many previous characters into it. There is an Easter Egg at the ending of the Marvel Battlegrounds story mode. This easter egg gives a hint at a future figure to be released.

It's a fun game but my son and I beat the main quest in under an hour. Best Buy had a nice deal for it for $20 for the first week. Great price, decent replay value, brings Marvel levels to Infinty 3.0 I wouldn't pay full price for this item but $20 made it worth it.

The included captain america figure is much cooler than the one from Infinity 2.0. The battle mode is similar to the old dream cast game power stone. It is a 3d fighting game where you move on an open playing field, not like smash brothers where you are on a 2d plane. I thought it was a lot of fun. Was great to have something else to be able to do in infinity. Lots of variety among the different play sets. Also was great that bestbuy had preorder discounts that stacked with gamers club!

Battlegrounds is a fun playset, in the vein of Super Smash Bros. It is fun, and it will be great for friends to come over and slap each other around. However, the story is very short. If you got this at the discounted GCU price of 15.99 as I did, it's worth it. Don't pay 29.99 for it though.

This is a great addition to DI 3.0. This essentially brings Smash Brothers to Xbox, less the online multiplayer component. Lots of fun with your Marvel characters, lacks online features and has framerate issues.

The new Battlegrounds playset is pretty awesome. I wasn't really looking forward to this one since I'm not really into Smash Bros. and it's similar, but getting it for $15.99 with Best Buy's GCU made it worth a purchase since that isn't much more than the price of a figure at MSRP and this comes with the new Captain America variant figure. I'm glad I got this! It's a lot of fun and the multiplayer aspect of it makes it that much better. I love that I have more of a use for all my Marvel characters now since DI 2.0 was a letdown in a lot of ways. The characters all feel new and fresh with the changes they've made too. Definitely a must-have for any DI player.

Captain America is my favorite Avenger, and the hoodless figuring looks great on my shelf. Marvel Battlegrounds, so far, is a fun mode to play as well.

This is their best idea yet! We love playing battle ground and it's definitely cooler than Nintendo stuff. Cap is of course awesome as well.

This is a very fun Disney Infinity add-on and a little bit cheaper than other packs. It comes with my favorite Avenger Captain America. This figure looks like the movie version as do the other new characters (except Spidey). It is a blast to battle it out with other Marvel Characters. A must have if you are a Disney infinity fan already.

My kids and I love this Disney Infinity extension. We really like the versus mode. This is probably the best use of the Marvel Disney Infinity characters. Best part is, you don't have to own all the heroes/villains! With this pack, you can even play as characters you don't have. A different "trial character" is made available to play with each week. Or you can earn and use "trial tokens," which allow you to play as a character you don't currently have but isn't a "trial character." It's a lot of fun!

Everything I have read and saw was exactly what I hoped. To be able to use all marvel characters in one setting is great.

This playset is a very good addition to Disney Infinity. It includes the Captain America: The First Avenger figure and the playset itself. The playset allows you to play as your favorite Marvel character and beat up other Marvel characters. I have been waiting so long to punch Iron Man in the face with Captain America!

These are awesome Disney Infinity Figures! So sad that Disney Infinity Figures were discontinued.

Definitely worth the wait! So great to be able to play the Marvel characters on 3.0!

Battlegrounds is exactly the kind of Infinity playsets that Disney should produce! Great competitive gameplay-the figures seemed like a gimmick at first but they are expertly crafted & look great as display items if you're a big fan. This Steve Rogers figure looks so cool!
