The lightsaber lights up to a decent brightness. But I can see if you bought the starter set or got him before this one came out you may not want to double dip in it, but if your like me I say go right a head, plus there are 5 other characters with light up fx lightsabers. time to collect them all.

Anakin skywalker with a cool blue glow light saber

Not my favorite, but the Light FX rocks!

Worth it for that alone. As usual with these Disney Infinity figures, this is another fun representation of a beloved character. It maintains the aesthetic style of other figures while clearly calling the subject to mind. A must for fans and collectors.
