Great beginner drone for someone trying to fly at a more professional level long term. Price point is good only if your are trying to fly for professional purposes. If you are flying for hobby purposes there are other less expensive outings.

I had a good experience with unit. I have a DJI racing drone and I upgraded to this for the better viewing experience. The image is fantastic, the control is superb, but the goggles didn't fit my face so I decided to return it. Disappointing as it really is a nice unit.

Great a little hard to program but great quality also only thing I don’t like is once battery starts to finish it try’s to fly away and the karma drone from go pro goes back to the starting point

The DJI avata is insane. I use this drone for all of the drone fpv videos. I can do all of the tricks just like the pros and they make this drone so simple to use

Very durable and everything works flawlessly. The only thing I would like for it to have is extra batteries. It dies fast which is expected for its size. Other than that it is awesome.

A great FPV option by DJI. Highly recommend picking up the Fly More Kit, as the battery only lasts about 18 minutes.

Its a lot of fun. Sturdy and easy to set up. Documentation and online support are abundant

This was my first experience with a drone of any kind and from the very first take off I was able to operate it confidently. The motion controller really makes it seamless and "easy." However, I have found that the microsd slot and type c port on the drone itself is very difficult to access, due to it's location next to one of the blades. I have seen that a 3 or 4 blade replacement helps with this, but I have yet to try. Additionally, the battery life (18min) really is not very much, and the extra batteries are fairly costly.

Drone was kind of hard to put together and get it installed but once everything is installed correctly, that drone is easy to fly

Hands down the best drone you get for beginners whether you are looking for an FPV drone or not. The drone is insanely tough. I ran into three trees and the ground a handful of times. It bounced right off and the turtle mode flipped it back over when it crashed upside down. You really can’t go wrong with this drone. The only additional thing I would recommend is the fly more combo for the batteries and getting the FPV controller to use if you want a traditional control over the motion controller.

I love the Avata out of the 3 that I have this is by far the best in all aspects. Very durable and extremely easy to fly.

Good Drone. A little pricey but the new controller has reverse which is what I needed for tight spaces. I’ve had a couple of the version 1 that I crashed but luckily the were replaced with the DJI insurance. Best Buy 2 year warranty got me this one because the old controller went bad. Can’t beat the Best Buy warranty!!
