Great purchase. I came from a Mavic Air 2 and I wanted to step my game up. The M3C offers a much better camera, leaps and bounds ahead, a handy zoom capability, ProRes and full customizable exposure. Not to mention it’s faster and has better obstacle sensors than before. Plus, with double the battery, I can fly 3x as long. Great purchase for any serious drone videographer

Amazing drone with excellent IQ

This was my first drone purchase. I was looking for something with high IQ along with superb video recording capability. I was not disappointed. Pictures are sharp. The RC Pro controller is great and I love not having to use my smartphone to fly the drone. I still have a lot to learn about it but my few days of flight has me looking forward to the adventure this will bring to my photography.
A side note: If you purchase this from Best Buy, watch the amount of points they give you. I am Elite Plus and they calculated 353 pts for a drone that cost $4999.99 before taxes. The points received should be well over 6000. I had to open a case which is being reviewed. You've been warned... Watch your points!

I think this is one of the best drones available and perfect for my work. 5.1k Pro-Res, flight time, range, and omnidirectional obstacle avoidance. I like the RC Pro and the 1T onboard storage, I just wish I was able to connect and download to a portable SSD. I get great quality video in normal mode with a little color correction and in dlog I get really good video with some color grading and LUT's from DJI. The only complaint with dlog is in the depth of view there is some haze, the Vivid LUT can take care of a lot of it, but not completely.
The two pics below are from a frame export of a video in Premiere Pro. and the first pic below is 5.1k Pro-Res 422 HQ normal with minor color correction. In the second the pic is in dlog with color grading and DJI dlog to Rec. 709 Vivid VI.
I have mainly short videos and only a few photos which were pretty good.

In terms of flight performance, the Mavic 3 Cine Premium Combo is a true champion. Its extended flight time of up to 45 minutes, combined with a maximum speed of 55 mph, offers endless possibilities for exploration and creativity. The 3-axis gimbal stabilization system ensures buttery-smooth footage, even during high-speed maneuvers, while obstacle avoidance sensors guarantee a safe and secure flight experience.
The range of intelligent flight modes and features available on the DJI Mavic 3 Cine Premium Combo further enhance its versatility. Excellent Addition To The DJI Drone Family

Great addition to the DJI Pro-Sumer line. With the recent software upgrade about seventy-five percent there.... Released a bit early by DJI. Having said that, there is significantly enhanced functionality -- battery life, quality of the camera, obstacle avoidance and programmed functionality. I believe within a couple of months, once additional improvements in software have been made, I will be able to rate the Mavic 3 Cine as a five-star drone.

This drone is not all it’s cracked up to be, I have had multiple occasions where it landed in the wrong place on return to home, and, of course, it Hass to be the wrong place to the extent where it ends up in a tree. When it flies and you control it and you can control it, it gets amazing video, and the cameras are astounding, but the radio signal is unstable at times, and when it is, you cannot control the drone properly. I don’t believe that this drone is far enough along to be being sold to the public. I think that it needs much more updates to get the radio signal under control where it can actually return to home in the same spot .

Mavic 3 Cine , craft needs to continue improving

Have most DJI crafts... the Mavic 3 Cine and Mavic 3 had firmware issues that have 98% corrected and a nice improvement over M2P in many ways and lacks a few.
Should have not been a FLY App craft, should have had on-board autonomous processing. The Cine model is quite pricy and hopfully will continue to receive improvements.
If you dont need ProRes, desire the 1TB SSD, or want the RC Pro controller, then dont bother paying the extra for Cine.
Overall, it's a great flyer wirh growing potential!

Rated because of price only. I can build a drone for a tenth of the price. Just too expensive for what it is. Especially when they come out with an upgrade less than a year later!

Would give a higher rating if it was priced better, but with only a slight upgrade in video quality from the mavic 2 pro this is not worth the money. Not to mention the video looks pixel-y/fake in daytime. The only thing it has going for it is the low light quality but since it’s illegal to fly at night anyways not super helpful.

Brand response from DJI Support
Posted .
Dear customer,
we are sorry if the product does not meet your expectation. The iconic Swedish brand Hasselblad designed and built the L2D-20c aerial camera just for DJI Mavic 3, embedding a professional-grade 4/3 CMOS in an unbelievably compact space. Rigorous Hasselblad standards are applied to both hardware performance and software algorithms, bringing imaging quality to an entirely new level. Regarding the video issue you mentioned, if it is convenient, please provide a sample footage exported from the drone to our support for further confirmation: http://www.dji.com/support. We hope to be able to help you further.
Best Regards, DJI Support
